Majestic Loreto Bay Casa Rental - With Great Views Loreto, Baja California, Mexico
Additional Location Information
Loreto Bay is blessed with natural beauty and located near the culturally rich, historic village of Loreto that sits on the shores of the Sea of Cortés. Described by Jacques Cousteau as “the world’s aquarium”, this local is a diver's delight and a whale watcher's wonderland.
The Sierra La Giganta mountain range, one of the tallest and most spectacular in Baja, overlooks the town of Loreto and creates breathtaking panoramic vistas. Here you'll find 12,000 of the friendliest local people you will ever meet.
The warm and sunny climate (averaging 300 sunny days and 80 degrees) a year, offers the opportunity for many year-round activities. Here you'll enjoy swimming, world-class sport fishing, scuba diving (an absolute paradise for underwater photography), kayaking, whale-watching, hiking, sea side golf and much, much more, making it the ideal place for an adventure-filled or laid back getaway.
For a special treat, take a ponga boat to nearby Coronado Island, where you will marvel at the marine life that includes sea lions, exotic birds, playful dolphins and whales.
Loreto is refreshingly local. The first thing you notice as you enter the winding, cobblestone streets of the town of Loreto is what you don’t see. There are no towering high-rise hotels obscuring the view of the waterfront. No sprawling shopping centers dominating the friendly local shops and no noisy nightclubs crowding out the charming village square. This beautiful town, once the capital of the California's, still remains somehow untouched by the outside world.
Our number one goal is to help make your visit to our vacation home so enjoyable that you will want to return and enjoy it again. Please let us know how we may be of service to you.

Our family loved this spot in Loreto! Pat made sure we had everything we needed, and we had a wonderful spring vacation - amazing rooftop dinners during sunset, easy walks to get a glass of wine and good food, wonderful pools and access to the water for snorkeling and paddling. Pat's place was very spacious, with comfortable furniture and a kitchen full stocked for us to make our own meals. The unit is located centrally in the complex making it easy to get to each pool and place to eat. Comfortable beds along with the fresh air allowed for lots of sleep after active days!

This house is breath taking! We vacationed with friends who did not see the house before we traveled, they were blown away! The Mexican architecture and the landscaping is amazing in the entire community. We spent a lot of time walking and photographing the place. On an average day, we would start our morning at the outdoor café having a coffee and visiting with the neighbors, we would then make our way to the pool or the beach, we would pack up drinks and snacks (the house has a few coolers to choose from) then back to the house for a nap in the a/C, then shower and choose one of the many restaurants in the community. We rented a car for 3 days, we went into Loreto to shop and had dinner twice (that was probably enough to see everything in town) We also used the car to get groceries. I suggest you stop on the way from the airport to buy some groceries, but there is a small store in the community to get ice, and limited things. We spent a few nights at home. The BBQ w/ the outside dining table is wonderful, and take your chairs up to the tower to stargaze! The house has everything you need, including (when we were there) some spices, coffee, even some leftover liquor! Towels & pool towels. Washer & Dryer w/ soap. Cell phone service is unavailable here, they use a Mexican owned cell co. We were able to "rent" a phone from the little store. We were able to get on the internet, if we were aware of that before the trip we would have used that to communicate with family and pet sitters! Speaking of pets...this community is very pet friendly, you can always find a canine friend here!! We found a great activities guide at the airport, victor Morgan (or Capt. Morgan) he has a place on main street in Founders, he made all of our arrangements for a rental car, whale tours, fishing, and arranged our taxi to the airport, he also sells Tequila. He was a great help and a very nice guy! Enjoy your trip, you will feel very safe here, and will get a lot of rest!!!

My wife and I just spent a month in this fantastic villa and the only drawback was coming home! Everything in the villa is top shelf from the location, the layout, the overall comfort. We can't express enough what a great experience it was. On top of the high quality of the villa, Owners Pat and Jan were very helpful with insider info and if we ever had a question or request the response was immediate. We will definitely be back soon. The Loreto Bay experience is the best overall vacation experience available today. The facilities, the neighborhood feel and safety is a lifestyle that is easy to embrace. Fishing was excellent, the golf course seems to be on the way up and the cost to enjoy all is very affordable. Thanks Pat and Jan! We will be in touch soon for next years booking! Jay and Sally
Thanks Jay and Sally. You were wonderful guests and we so appreciate your help with setting up the new Apple TV box for all to enjoy! We are so pleased you loved the quaintness of Loreto and our little piece of paradise. We are so excited that you are coming back again next year.
“Loved the view!”

We loved our stay at the Casa in the Founders Neighborhood in Loreto Bay. When we arrived the home was immaculate and it is spacious with very comfortable furniture throughout, lovely tiled bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, and a grill on the patio, where we cooked fresh yellow fin tuna quite a few times during our stay. We had an amazing view of the mountains, and a small lake on the golf course and all the lovely landscaping in the neighborhood provided many opportunities for bird watching from the second floor patio. Pat was very prompt about returning emails and providing answers to all of our questions. The house itself is in a very central location, within a few blocks of a very chic coffee house, a lovely Mexican restaurant with good food, a small grocery store, and the pool and kayak rental on the beach at the Loreto Bay Inn. The neighborhood is beautifully landscaped and it is a joy just to walk through it, noting all the Mexican architectural details on the homes. The Loreto area offers opportunities for drives and hikes into the mountains, boat trips to Coronado Island for scuba, snorkeling, or just spending a day on a quiet beach. In the village, there are places to buy fresh fish, as well as grocery shop, souvenir shop, or go out for a meal. We found the people of Baja to be very kind and we always felt safe.

We loved every minute of it! Your casa #373 was the most well equipped place we have ever rented. Very comfortable beds and sofa (which you don't usually find in Mexico). We found the home the be very, very clean and bug free which is huge since we have young children. The casa had all the creature comforts of home. It was a great proximity to the beach, pool, store, and our favorite morning spot, El Corazon coffee shop. We also felt very safe. I appreciated the presence of security in the neighborhood. Looking forward to returning next year.

We really enjoyed our stay in Loreto Bay. It takes you away to another time and allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a small European village. We were able to walk to a little coffee shop and wine bar as well as restaurants - just within the village.
It is very convenient to fly into Loreto and be at the resort in ten minutes. The people in Loreto are really friendly.
The town of Loreto is absolutely charming with many shops and unique restaurants. The Malecon along the water is just beautiful for a walk after dining in town.
There are many day excursions and we highly recommend going to Coronado Island to see the sea lions and bird sanctuary.
The accommodations were beyond my expectations with two master suites with comfortable king beds and all the amenities. There was even an outdoor cook center for Bbq'ing and relaxing on the patio under the stars.
We can't wait to return and stay longer next time.
Loreto Bay is a very special place for us as well. We sure hope that you will return soon.
“Great location a perfect getaway and fantastic owners!”

My husband and I stayed at this home over the Thanksgiving weekend for some R & R. This home is a gem! A perfect location, walking distance to all of the amenities including walking the beach. Close to the downtown for more shopping and restaurants. The home was extremely comfortable and decorated beautifully. We would definetly come back. Pat thank you for a lovely retreat.
