The house is located next to the world famous Venice Canals Historic District which draws thousands of tourists every year.
In 1905 Abbot Kinney wanted to recreate Venice, Italy in California and he created a real beauty. In the early morning you can see cranes and rare birds on your 5 min walk to the beach since it is also a bird sanctuary. Many famous writers, actors, and creatives have houses here like Matt Groening ( Simpsons ) , Ken Kesey ( One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and Orson Bean.
Abbott Kinney Blvd with its galleries, restaurants and exquisite boutiques, the street they named after the builder of the canals is now considered "the coolest block in America" according to QO magazine and only a 5 min walk away.
Last but not least check out the Venice Boardwalk which is 10 min walk away is the most visited attraction in LA. The boardwalk is a 2.5 mile stretch on the beach lined with Vendor booths, cafes, shops, street artists and each volleyball fields.
