Beach Front House-near Venao Beach-Pedasi, Panama
Located on the Pacific Coast of the Azuero Peninsula, in El Ciruelo, 30 minutes past Pedasi and 5 minutes before the popular surf beach, Playa Venao.
Very private home with a 180 degree view of the ocean. There is one other home on the property, about 100 yards away. This is where the homes caretaker lives.
Wrap around terraces with various seating areas, an upstairs balcony, and a private beach offer plenty of options for enjoying the ocean breezes. Activities in area include hiking, horseback riding, visiting waterfalls, yoga, massage, monkey and bird watching, kayaking, surfing, kiteboarding, paddle boarding, snorkeling, diving, kite surfing, and fishing.
The home is very open and airy, surrounded by big sliding glass windows and doors and is fully furnished.
- $80/night is for 2 guests max. There is an extra fee of $20/night per extra guest.
- The home is for sale. Occasionally my real estate agent will have clients to show the home. This is always done with advance notice given to the guests, and scheduled around your convenience.
- The home has been my primary residence for 5 years, and it provided me with the most perfect and comfortable space to experience peace, calm and inspiration. We are now in the transition phase of making the home both my vacation home and a rental home for guests, which I hope will provide you with the same satisfaction and happiness that it has for me. Know that because this is home that I have used for the past 5 years and will be vacationing here, you will encounter some of my belongings in closets and drawers, while leaving ample space for you.
- During rainy season, a 4 x 4 car is required to enter the property during heavy rains.
- I had chosen to use a gas heater for the hot water, which is common in Panamá. These heaters provide a change in temperature, between hot and cold when showering.
- There are 2 dogs and 1 cat that live on the property. They live with the caretaker.

It is an older House - Land is beautiful - but the House is a nightmare - dirty - kitchenscraps - bedbugs- we sleep full clothing - and cold 1 Room on 16 grad degrees - this is the Clima where bedbugs don't come out. If we can go out to an Other House or Hotel we will do it. But is was Christmas Time and all was full.
All of these home issues were unforeseen and something I deeply regret happened. My home is dear to me, and up until now has always treated people very well.
I have spoken with the guests and will be paying them at least a 50% refund (as they paid high season rates of $250/night).
The house has been fumigated. The bed has been disposed of and replaced. Bedbugs and any bugs in the jungle are an infestation that comes on quickly. For the kitchen, it has been pressure washed, along with the rest of the house.
I am offering a discounted rate for now, until guests can confirm that the home is back in good condition.

My husband and our 2 children stayed in this beautiful home with an amazing view. We were so relaxed and happy here! We enjoyed coffee on the porch while watching the waves roll in. Low tide is a great time to explore the beach right in front of the property. There is lots of tidal pools and marine life to experience. Our family had a great experience being a part of nature and all it has to offer.

Upon arriving at the house my breath was literally taken away! In one word...Paradise!!! Owners are bi-lingual and very helpful. House was extremely clean, bright and well stocked with everything we needed especially the plethora of hammocks on the wraparound porch overlooking the ocean! We had the best vacation ever. I highly recommend this house although I'd like to keep it secret so it's available because we'll be back!!!
“A beautiful and very comfortable home away from home”

We came down for a fishing holiday. We loved the feeling of being far away from it all, as the home is so private - it was just us and nature. We drove 2 minutes down the road and had a local captain take us out to fish along the Pacific Coast. We had everything we needed to cook our delicious fish - we even picked up some coconuts on the beach just below the house. We saw the stars from our bed at night and the beautiful sunrise in the morning. We never wanted to leave!
“I loved my stay! I highly recommend staying here!!”

I loved staying here!! The sunrise was viewable from my bedroom window and sparkled on the ocean's surface every morning. The outdoor porch was a great place for morning ritual, practicing yoga, drinking a cup of coffee, reading a book, and viewing wildlife. The house is pleasantly remote with few local neighbors. A couple of hammocks hang ocean side, a great way to feel the ocean breeze. The accommodations were amazing! It was imaculantly clean. There's a full kitchen and bathroom with cold and hot water. The bed was super comfortable. I loved my entire stay! It is an amazing place and well worth the money. I left feeling relaxed, happy, and clear headed. The owner, Emily aiken, was pleasant to work with and fun to talk to. I will stay here again and I have recommended this place to all my friends and family.
“This is truly one of the most beautiful places I've been.”

This is really an amazing place to stay! The home itself is just beautiful and had everything we needed. It is really a paradise in itself. The open patio overlooking the ocean provided so much relaxation and beauty. Really the whole experience was more than I could have asked for. The people are really friendly and warm. I loved spending time at the local surf beach, Venao, which was right down the road too! Outdoor sports are so accessible. We hiked, snorkled, surfed and soaked up the sun!! Pedasi is a close drive and is a lovely town with great food! Our whole experience was nothing short of amazing!
