PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Villa Belvedere, a summer residence of a noble family from Lucca, dating back to the 1500’s, and measuring about 600 sqm, it is surrounded by olive groves and offers panoramic views over the plain of Lucca and the surrounding hills. The villa is completely plastered externally, like all the important mansions of this epic, has been renovated by the owners who have maintained the original structure. Behind the house there is a seventeenth century polychrome nymphaeum, where among ancient statues and seating is still the emblem of the ancient family. Villa Belvedere also allows easy access through the use of bicycles and offers the possibility of day trips to the famous “Lucchesian Villas”, to the beaches of Versilia, and to the famous tourist cities of Tuscany, such as Pisa (20 km), Florence (78 km), the marble quarries of Carrara or to the Cinque Terre, declared Patrimony of 'Unesco.
The Villa is set on 3 floors; a double stone staircase leads to the main entrance on the first floor which is composed of a main living room, dining room, service bathroom, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with tub and shower. The second floor is accessed via a stair starting from the first floor. On the second floor,there are a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The access to the ground floor is via an ancient stone staircase on the first floor or via direct access from the outside, this floor is made up of a dining area, kitchen and laundry room.
The external area is totally fenced and covers an area of 5000 square meters of land mostly characterized by a garden with secular impressive trees, flowers and plants typically of the Mediterranean. The garden is made more comfortable and cozy thanks to the presence of tables and chairs to accommodate perfect moment of relax.
The swimming pool is set in a panoramic position in front of the villa in the Italian garden, and is distances about 30 meters from the house. Measuring 5x10m with a rectangular form has a variable depth from 1,30 mt. to 1,60 mt and it is purified with chlorine. The pool has a ladder for access to the water. This area is equipped with sun lounges, chairs, umbrella, tables and shower with cold water. In the vicinity to the swimming pool there is an area furnished with chairs and table ideal for outdoor snacks. The swimming pool is opened from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

The property is located not far from Lucca. Lucca is a place that you can just walk around and discover and enjoy and it's really close to Firenze and far from the crowds. It has many things to offer to the guests as you can visit the city both by foot or cycling into the walls. There are a lot of place to see in the beautiful town, first of all the ancient walls, the Amphitheatre square and not least the Torre Guinigi. In a few kms from Lucca you will also find beautiful villas like Villa Reale, Villa Mansi or Villa Torrigiani.
The Lucca area offers also a lot of interesting naturalistic places like Garfagnana, Valle del Serchio or Piana di Lucca.
For those who wish to swim in the sea, the coastal strip of Versilia, from Forte dei Marmi to Torre del Lago Puccini, offers more than 20 kilometres (12 miles) of beaches, parks and splendid countryside. Most beaches can be reached from Lucca by car in 30 to 45 minutes.
It could be also an ideal point to tour around the famous Cinque Terre. The area is easily reachable by car with the A11 super way Firenze-Pisa (called also Firenze mare) exit Capannori (11 km).
From Genova you can use the A12 Genova- Rosignano.
The railway station, that is not far from centre, links the city with Firenze and Pisa with hourly connection. From Firenze then you can reach all other Italian Cities.
