Casa Genziana E is an elegant and welcoming two-story cottage that is part of an ancient Tuscan farm property, dating back to the seventeenth century. It sleeps three people. From Casa Genziana E you will enjoy a view of the Tuscan countryside and of the greenery. Casa Genziana E is 65 square meters (700 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool and a shared jacuzzi pool, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 5 km (3.1 miles) from the medieval hamlet of Rigomagno .
To stay at Casa Genziana E you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, in a reserved parking space.
The apartments Casa Genziana A, B, C, D ed E are part of an ancient Tuscan farmhouse, built in the seventeenth century with thick stone walls. The farmhouse has been tastefully restored with love, keeping the original architecture intact.
You will reach the villa along a driveway that unwinds in the vegetation of the hillside. You will be welcomed by a large wrought iron gate, and you will be able to park your car inside. The first thing you will notice, at a level above the parking area, is the large stone building, framed by the green of the trees. Climbing a stone stairway of approximately ten steps you will find yourself in a large flat area, in the middle of which there is the villa, surrounded by a large lawn. Among the grass, here and there, you will see large terracotta jars filled with flowers.
Everything is beautiful, well-kept and well ordered: you will fall in love with this place at first glance and will be happy you chose it for your vacation.
Beyond the lawn there is the side of the hill, along which you will find marked trails that invite you to stroll in the woods.
The air is clear and bright, perfumed by the smell of the wood. Your eyes will rest on an uninterrupted horizon of the Tuscan countryside.
From every point of the premises you will only see the blue of the sky and the green of the surrounding hills, and no other building.
For each guest a swimming pool towel is provided, along with bed linens and towels. Every day a gardener is on the premises to look after the garden, and it is possible to request maid services. Breakfast in the garden is available upon request.
Small-sized pets are welcome.
Mountain bikes are available at the villa for you to rent, and a horse center is nearby.
The swimming pool is 8 meters (26 feet) large by 15 meters (50 feet) long, from 1.50 meter (5 feet) to 2.50 meters (8 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with a sun umbrella and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a pleasant view of the garden and of the surrounding countryside. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex.
The garden features an above-ground Jacuzzi pool with six seats. The garden is partly shaded by a large gazebo. The garden is equipped with benches, as well as with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the garden you will enjoy a broad view of the 7 hectares (17 acres) of protected natural park in which the villa resides. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally). You will share the laundry room with the other guests staying at the complex. Parking

The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are made of natural wood and wrought iron, according to the typical style of the Tuscan countryside. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. There is a nice fireplace made of bricks. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. Excellent accommodation with every need catered for. Even a jacuzzi, which I confess we didn't use! Swimming pool & grounds delightful, with good local walking.
Good restaurants in Lucignano
Supermarket in Sinalunga.
A wonderful faultless holiday..

The photos do a good job of showing off the beauty of this property. The landscaping is impeccable and yet not stiff. Flowers and grass frame the pool and patio area. It was quiet in the week we visited so we had our own private estate it seemed, moving seamlessly between our kitchen and the outdoor seating where we lit a candle and sat until dark.
The inside was clean, neat, and well kept up with a modern bathroom - not fancy but very comfortable. The lower level bedroom in Casa Azalea was less ideal but in the grand scheme mattered little.
The wonderful hospitality included phone help, warm greetings and orientation, help with bikes (free to borrow), and general availability as needed during our week.
We enjoyed being away from big cities and found our drives to Siena and Chianti towns part of the charm of staying "in the middle of nowhere." The Lucignano festival and spontaneous dinner atop San Gusme were highlights.
The best parts of our stay were peculiar to us - but all made great by our return to the Casa at the end of each day. The property is truly a restful and beauty-filled spot, more lush than many agriturismo's we drove past that were more in the valley.
If you want a sweeping vista view, this isn't the place for you, the view is more upward than downward. But then again, you might trade view for actual property beauty - and in the end, we were totally satisfied having the view immediately accessible through drives and bike rides.

The best thing about our experience was that Casa Azalea was exactly as promised in the promotional material. The grounds, the buildings, the amenities, the location were ideal for us. The place was very attractive and clean. We loved everything about it and hope to return. The proprietors went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and convenient.
The location was, for our needs, perfect; A peaceful, rural setting, yet convenient to the central superhighway for our trips to Florence, Assisi and other Tuscan cities. We loved driving uphill the mile or so to explore the wonderful little hilltop town of Rigomagno. A somewhat larger market town was just a few miles down the country roads and ideal for all our shopping needs.
We only wish that we had chosen to come a few weeks earlier in the season when the very inviting swimming pool would have still been open.
The only quibble we have is that, while the accommodations were perfect for the two of us, the house could have been uncomfortably tight if four people had tried to share it, as the advertisement promised they could.
What we liked least was having to leave to return home at trips end.

We were delighted that our small cottage next to the larger farmhouse
apartments was better than we hoped. It was in a wonderful location and the
grounds were lovely with an inviting pool. Several days we just stayed at
"home" and basked by the pool in the garden, read and just relaxed. We
discovered that we liked best to explore the smaller towns in the area and that
Lucignano, town next door, had a pair of excellent restaurants. It's a great
location for venturing out into the rest of Tuscany.
