Description
This luxury 4 bedroom villa is situated in the popular area of Montinhos da Luz.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and also offers pool heating for a small extra charge.
Casa Matelou has been furnished to a high standard throughout and offers everything you would need for a fantastic family holiday in the sun.
On the ground level of the villa there are 2 bedrooms one room with king size bed and en-suite shower room and one room with twin beds and en-suite bathroom facilities, the twin bedroom has patio doors leading out onto the pool terraces. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms both with en-suite facilities one room with a king size bed and one twin bedroom, these rooms both lead out onto a balcony which overlooks the pool.
The kitchen and living areas are both on the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances from microwave to dishwasher and all the usual utensils.
The lounge / dining area is spacious and provides seating for all the family with 3 sofas and a large dining table with 8 chairs, there is a wide screen TV with an IPTV service offering UK, BBC and ITV channels and a DVD player, the lounge and dining room lead out to the pool which is approximately 6 x 12 meters and surrounded by sun loungers, there is also a covered BBQ cabana for some alfresco dining.
To the front of the villa there is a driveway for off street parking and a lovely garden area. The entrance to the villa is gated for security and to stop little ones from getting out un assisted.
Luz village still retains some of its traditional charm with cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants and offers something for all the family.
The historic town of Lagos is just a 10 minute drive away and offers a beautiful modern marina, markets and restaurants. There are also many golf courses within easy reach as well as water parks and a local zoo.

Nearest restaurant: Luz town centre is a 35 mminute walk away, it has a diverse array of restaurants and bars.

“Casa matelou”
Great villa very clean and spacious. Everything went smoothly! About 25 minutes walk from beach and main shops lovely beaches. Would definitely recommend!

“Great villa”
Great villa for 8 or 9 if you have small children. One of the bedrooms is only accessible through one of the other bedrooms. Would suit parents with young children. Well equipped, decent sized pool. Only slight grumble would be a few minor damages ( cracked window panes, settee with damaged cushions) but nothing that would spoil your holiday. Approx 25 mins walk to centre of luz. You definitely would need a car to make the most of your holiday. I have stayed in 8 or 9 villas in and around luz and this is one of the best. I would go back.
