In need of TLC

Left on Jun 02, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

It could have been wonderful. Great location and great garden. Also the caretaker was very helpful and friendly. The hay barn ( which is called the gallery when you get there!) is nice but could be very special. Some of the fittings like the bed ( very cheap and uncomfortable mattress) and the bathroom just needed some money spent and it could be wonderful

Nevertheless we had a great time and…

A delightful cottage.

Left on Jun 14, 2011 for a stay in June 2011

A good mixture of old and new, with plenty of room and a very well equipped kitchen. The cottage was comfortable and clean with lovely views and a pretty garden. The photos don't do it justice! Well placed for beach and countryside, with plenty of local information available. Excellent value for money, and we would hope to visit again.

Beautiful Location

Left on Aug 25, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

The Farmhouse is set in lovely grounds - beautiful lawns and woods, perfect for our older children to explore on their own. The house is quite spacious, particularly the bedrooms (we had plenty of room for the travel cot in the twin room) which were very nicely furnished. The bathroom was big too - lots of space for bathing babies and a very efficient shower. The only minus points were the …

A Home away from Home

Left on Jun 14, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My wife and I have just returned from spending a week at Blaenglanhanog Cottage. The cottage is located about a mile from the main road - through a farm and up a metalled single lane track. On arrival, we were met by the cottage owners Liz and Jeremy who live in a new build property on the same site. The property is well-equipped and spotlessly clean, with oil-fired CH, solar thermal water …

Lovely weekend at a quaint, traditional, cosy cottage in Wales.

Left on May 17, 2011 for a stay in February 2011

We spent a very enjoyable weekend at Frondeg in February this year. Even though the weather was inclement we had a lovely time exploring the surrounding countryside, towns and villages. The cottage is delightful and though traditional it has all the mod cons we required for a weekend away.

We had a delicious meal in the pub just two minutes walk up the road and spent several hours walking on the…

The cottage is very homely and comfortably furnished and we felt very welcome.
