El Aposento is in Calle Relatores, located between the Literary Quarter and the neighbourhoods of La Latina and Lavapiés, a few steps away from the squares of Tirso de Molina and Santa Ana. The apartment enjoys a privileged location where one can enjoy a truly authentic atmosphere in the very centre of Madrid.

Stepping out and on the left of the building, la Casa – Palacio de la Vera, is the square of Tirso de Molina, dominated by an statue of the writer, where a flower market made of eight modern metal and wooden buckets is held every day of the week. It also has a children playground, a news stand, a supermarket, etc.
It is both a convenient and a central neighbourhood that both tourist and locals highly enjoy.

On the right are the squares of Jacinto Benavente, El Ángel and the famous Plaza Santa Ana.
These pedestrian squares and the surrounding streets offer a wide range of restaurants, bars, traditional cafés and tapas bars, as well as all kinds of traditional and design shops.

El Aposento is also close to the city’s three major touristic places: the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor and the famous square of Opera. A few metres away, heading down the Calle de Atocha, is the Paseo del Prado, home to Madrid’s famous “Golden Triangle of Art” (the Prado, the Thyssen and the Reina Sofia).

The centre of Madrid enjoys very good transportation links both by metro and bus. There is a public parking almost in front of the building, on the same street , as well as two other public parking on the squares of Santa Ana and Jacinto Benavente (28 € - 30 € / day).

There is also a taxi rank and a central transport hub with several metro lines and local trains at Puerta del Sol.
