Madrid is not only the capital of Spain and the financial center of the country, but also is a Spanish destination excels for its tourist attractions, cultural and historical. If we have to Madrid as next tourist destination but do not have much money available, travelers should know that Madrid has monuments, museums and other tourist destinations that we can visit with little money or for free.

One such attraction is the Museo del Prado, which presents the permanent collection of the world's largest art gallery. It can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 and Sunday from 17:00 to 20:00 hours.

The Reina Sofia is a modern contemporary art museum, located across from the Atocha train station and has free admission on weekdays from 19:00 to 21:00, Saturday from 14:30 to 21:00 hours and on Sundays from 10:00 to 14:30.

Another alternative is free tourism in Madrid Air Museum, which is the same times of the day free. The Air Museum displays a collection of all those elements that have been relevant in the Spanish aviation history. It consists of over 130 units of various designs, most notably Mitchell B25 bomber and a twin-engine Heinkel He 111 with Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. Also recommended are the autogyro Cierva C-19 and the "Jesus of the Great Power", which crossed the South Atlantic in 1929 and is now established as the oldest airplane in Spain.

Finally, an outstanding alternative to visit Madrid for free, is elTemplo Debod, which presents special hours (all from 2200 hours) in the Night of Museums, the Festival of San Isidro and the International Museum Day .

The Temple of Debod transport us back to Egypt in the Spanish capital, where visitors can enjoy both the sunset and the panoramic view of the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral.

Suburban museums: Metro de Madrid has some wealth, that transport the traveler to a part of the history of Madrid, like the Museum of Peral in Opera or paleontological Carpetana station. The remodeling of both stations marked the discovery of important archaeological and paleontological findings, now converted into a museum and opened to the public.
