“Our personal resort” The house was well maintained,large enough for extended family to have their own space and close to all the activities we wanted to participate in. The back yard was large,quiet with a pool and hot tub...never had to even go to the beach. Would definitely return!

“The best log cabin you would ever want to stay in.” We adored our stay in this log cabin. It was truly comfortable. Much to our liking, was the living and kitchen area with its high ceilings. (The kitchen was well-equipped with the necessary dishes, pots and pans and a variety of coffee makers.) The loft had both a sleeping and sitting area, which was greatly appreciated by all our visitors as were also the other two bedrooms. The cabin is well-decorated (nautical style and colors), well-lighted and had the necessary gas stove, electric heaters, air-conditioning and ceiling fans for whatever kind of weather was on hand during our stay. We especially liked the screened-in porch where we took our morning coffee and often had dinner out there, too. The cabin was within walking distance of the village with its shops and restaurants. We loved walking down to Barrett Park, which was only 5 minutes away. Lovely view. The service was impeccable. Mrs. Taylor saw to everything and kept in touch regularly to see if all was fine. Even the cleaning lady saw to all our needs. We have rented many cottages in the past, but have never liked one of them as much as we have liked this one, and I would never hesitate to rent it again. Thank you Yuko and Dave Taylor for all your efforts in making our stay so special.

“Cozy retreat close to it all !” Almost anything you would need is right here. It was wonderful to come back to this cozy cottage after a day of adventures ! Very relaxing,almost like home ! Close to Bar Harbor & Acadia Park you don't have to drive far to any destination on the island. I would definitely stay here again! Karen has a great cottage !

“Ba Haba” Wow! We stayed in this house in May 2013 and it was perfect. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, till the time we left. Everything was on one level and this was greatly appreciated after a long day of hiking. It was clean and had all the utensils we needed to make meals at home, including a BBQ, which was utilized. We were so relaxed staying here, we completely disconnected. Bob the owner, stopped by upon our arrival, to check in, make sure we had everything we needed and if we had any questions. We were very pleased with everything. He then handed us the best, I mean the best, blueberry pie we have ever had. We even had a slice for breakfast one morning...O.K., maybe more than one morning and picked up two on the way out of town. The location to this house is just outside the downtown area, which is nice. It's quiet and peaceful. Mdi, is a great place to visit and the locals are very friendly. Even though, most of Loop Road was closed while we were there, it was not at all a deterrent. Mdi, has so many wonderful and majestic places to see. We are planning our next trip in Bob and Marcia's Million Dollar Location home.

“Wonderful” Was very clean,quiet and comfortable,great views of Mooshead,nice Sunsets,deer walking around the house,,great rock fire place, well equipped kitchen, easy access to the lake and beach,and not far from town to enjoy the gift shops,etc, I would definatly re book. We booked in March,was great for winter sports,I will re book for Summer fun...

“Lovely Maine Retreat” Had a wonderful stay at Hollyhock House. Spacious and comfortable. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the garden produce. It was in the fall so the fruit was ripe. Beauty is everywhere and Hollyhock House was a great place to enjoy.

“What gem we found!” My wife and I took our two adult daughters and their husband and boyfriend to Bar Harbor ME. Cliff side at Sandcliff by the Sea was the perfect place! The house is beautiful and spacious. We used the gas grill several times and enjoyed the gas fireplace on the deck tremendously. The location is excellent...close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We used the bus systems to explore the park. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend hiked over thirty miles of Acadia. The owner was fantastic to work with. We had a slight problem the first night but Bonnie took care of it immediately. I highly recommend this home. We gathered wild blueberries just behind the home and used them in our breakfast. Our favorite places to eat....popovers at Jordan's Pond, lobster rolls at the Side Street Cafe, BBQ at Mainely Meats with Atlantic Brewery tour, lobster dinner at Gaylin's. Beer at the Beerworks and karaoke. And of course warm blueberry pie ala mode and blueberry twist soft serve at C J's. The light house boat tour is well worth the time and money. We highly recommend this as your vacation destination

“Couldn't ask for more!” This rental cottage was extremely well equipped and spotless. The owners were very hospitable and were available for all our needs including questions concerning the Camden area. The lawn and gardens were well maintained. We spent many evenings sitting in the adirondack chairs on the front lawn and many mornings enjoying our coffee on the back deck. The location was ideal as we could walk into town to shop, sight see and sit by the harbor and watch the boats while enjoying an ice cream from a nearby ice cream shop. We were four senior citizens looking for a quiet, comfortable and friendly locale and we found it here. We all said we would definitely return to Camden and stay at this home-away-from-home again.

“Nice Getaway” My family has been vacationing in Maine for many years and we love Ogunquit. Unfortunately the last 3 years we were unable to get to Maine and were missing it terribly. I found this rental online and was excited that the price was right and we were able to come back to where we love. The place was cute, perfect for us and the location was great - we enjoy walking and it was the perfect distance. Dave was awesome to deal with and we'd love to come back next year! Thanks!
