“Quiet, peaceful home from home.” The apartment was delightful! Immaculately clean and decorated to the highest standard. We were a fair distance from the town but this meant it was so quiet and peaceful and only a short journey to the heart of the Lerwick. Could be a bit expensive if you're relying on taxis but ideal if you have a car. Ideally situated for exploring Shetland in any direction.

“Hidden gems in both property and owners” Your every wish is catered for, Gillian and Steve are the most hospitable and accommodating hosts our party have had the pleasure to stay with, a real home from home experience. Along with the supreme standard of cleanliness they reall have tought of everything and the smallest of thoughtful touches do make all the difference. If you require a transfer to the accommodation, they will be there for you and your party. We were blown away with the fact that were hot water bottles, which were topped by the backpack in the hall as this held a map aswell as a flask, how fab.

“Friendly, clean, warm, welcoming and well maintained.” before we even got to the apartment the communication was excelent, we where kept well informed on what was happening, times the property was ready and what to expect. when we arrived we where greeted warmly and a key was given to each of us (four in our party) which we felt was a special touch which was actually quite useful, as was the extensive guide books and local visitor leaflets, and a backpack was also provided with maps and guides, boxes for sandwich's etc in case we wished to go walking. The apartment was immaculate, obviously well maintained, and everyone was welcoming, even the gardeners where friendly and apologised if their mowing was too loud, in fact all this and off road parking. The final twist was actually after we had left, my sister had inadvertently left her insulin in the fridge, a mistake which could have had serious ramifications, we had several missed calls from them when they found it, but unfortunately when we returned them their was no reply. we expected to have to call in at a hospital to see if we could get a prescription or something once we got back to the mainland, however when we reached the ferry terminal the insulin was awaiting us, they had gone to the trouble of checking if we where leaving on the ferry and delivering it to the terminal for when we booked in. talk about service above and beyond.

“Loved Tammie Norie” My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Decca self catering on our first trip to the Shetland Islands. Our little flat was beautifully outfitted, and our hosts went out of their way to help us when we came in on a late flight. The flat is centrally located, a short drive to a supermarket or even central Lerwick. We would definitely recommend it, and if we ever get to return to Shetland, we will stay there again.

“Absolutely brill just like home from home!!!” We stayed at Rain Gos apartment whilst on holiday last mont & we absolutely luved it!!! The apartments were so clean & had absolutely everything you could ever imagine. The area is so quiet & pieceful which is a great bonus!!! We will definetly be staying here from now on when we go to Shetland so plzzz have it available! I must stress book early as it get full very fast & no wonder its an absolutely brilliant place to stay!!!

“Excellent accommodation in Lerwick” The location was in a quiet area of Lerwick in the beginning of the countryside. The accommodation was all you could wish for: clean, modern, all facilities ie washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, wi-fi etc.. Would definitely reccomend the Decca.

“Absolutely perfect - Couldn't ask for anything more!” This has been our second stay at the Decca, and like the first everything was perfect, if not better! We stayed in Skooty allan, a 2 bedroomed flat on the ground floor. Everything and more was provided for us, and all the extra touches like shetland biscuits and ale were very appreciated! The accommodation was very well decorated (looked brand new in fact!) and was very comfy, the bed was excellant, and after a full day of walking it was very appreciated! I really cant think of anything that can be changed at the Decca, all members of the team that we met were very friendly and nothing was to much to ask! We hope to return to shetland for our fourth trip and we will be booking at the decca, no need to look for anywhere else as this accommodation has it all!! Thanks everyone for a brilliant stay!
