Our stay in Cala Deia was nothing short of remarkable. We were greeted by Mya, the property manager and given a complete tour of the house. All aspects were covered off thoroughly.
The house was spectacular; the views and proximity to the rocky beach were fantastic. There were tonnes of well marked hiking trails virtually at our doorstep. The location was so private yet we never felt isolated. As we drove down the long winding ( narrow) road to reach the house we felt as though we had been transported into another world.
The town of Deia had everything we could possible require. From a small but surprisingly well stocked grocery store to some absolutely amazing restaurants.
The Spain Select team was always there for us, as was the property manager so we never felt insecure. The house was far more beautiful that the pictures represented and it was spotless. The fact that it was such a large 4 bedroom house meant that the seven of us never felt suffocated. We had all the space we needed and then some.
A rental car is a must but with it, you can explore this amazingly beautiful island...especially the coastline between Cala Deia and Port de Soller. That drive makes a trip from San Francisco to Monterrey seem boring!! It will take your breath away.
We could have ( should have ) stayed two weeks...next time
Thanks to all at Spain Select and Mya for making this a truly memorable family vacation
