The Treehouse-II, 5-Star Homes at Gondola Village Mammoth Lakes, California
Additional Location Information
"The TREEHOUSE" condo is the finest luxury found in the Village at Mammoth. Location is key. And this condo is only steps from the Gondola and all the amenities here in Mammoth Village, including the Mountain Center for your sporting needs, restaurants, shops, Starbucks, etc.
Skiing and snow boarding on Mammoth Mountain, where you will enjoy the longest ski season in the country. Dog sledding, cross country skiing, snow mobiling, and much more to explore right here in the best of the High Sierras.
Winters in Mammoth Lakes are famous for huge snow packs. Recently over 600 inches have fallen in one season. Mammoth offers more days on the hill than any resort in California. 350 ski-able acres. 3,100 ft. vertical drop. 150 trails. 29 lifts.
In addition to the exceptional skiing and snowboarding you will find miles of trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, all with magnificent views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains!
Summer, Mammoth’s “other” season, brings even more opportunity for recreation: Golf, hiking, horseback riding or just soaking in the sun. For the avid mountain biker, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park offers some of the most diverse and challenging terrain around. The Eastern Sierra is also world famous for trout fishing.
Many other events are held throughout the summer; Mammoth Lakes Jazz Jubilee, Bluesapalooza and Festival of Beers, arts and crafts festivals, Fourth of July parade and fireworks, Fireman’s Picnic, just to name a few.
Beginner to expert anglers can fish for trout at more than 400 lakes and 1,100 miles of streams in the Inyo National Forest area. Numerous derbies are held during the Summer.
Over thirty trail heads provide access to the 1.3 million acres of wilderness backcountry for hikers seeking to escape into primitive and pristine areas. Trails of easy, moderate and strenuous ability lead to Alpine lakes and creeks, the John Muir Trail and the Ansel Adams Wilderness.
** Devil's Postpile National Monument is located in Red's Meadow. The columns of basalt were formed approx. 900 thousand years ago when a lava flow slowed and began to cool and crack. Temperatures deep within the lava bed were uniform enough to produce six-sided columnar joints, 40 to 60 feet high resembling a giant pipe organ, polished to a shine by later glacial action.
** Rainbow Falls is located downstream from the Devil's Postpile. The headwaters of the San Joaquin River flows over an abrupt 101-foot drop, sending rainbows of color into the midst. Truly a sight that is breathtaking short hike.
The Sierra Star Golf Course is a championship 18-hole, par 71 layout nestled within a shelter of Jeffrey Pines and White Fir, where each hole offers its own spectacular view. Tree-lined fairways, well-trapped greens, and numerous lakes and ponds make this course another challenging golf experience for the low handicap golfer, and also very enjoyable for the occasional recreational player.
Snowcreek Golf Course, is nestled alongside the majestic Sherwin mountain range, the course provides spectacular, scenic enjoyment for players of every level. Snowcreek is noted for its elevated greens, multiple bunkers, and extensive use of tranquil lakes and streams. Snowcreek Golf Club offers a driving range, and putting green.

“Perfect Location & Fantastic accommodations!”
Now that we've stayed in both of the Village Treehouse's (Treehouse-1 last year, and Treehouse-2 this april), we can say we truly love them both! They are fully remodeled, very cushy, great kitchen layout and appliances. Conversion of the walk-in closets to sleeping areas really extends the flexibility of the unit for a large group, especially when bed-sharing is an issue. Love that the lower bedroom level has its own separate entry from outside with the mud room right inside the door to leave your ski boots, etc before settling in. We love the keyless combo door locks that are throughout the complex as well as the condo front door, which really simplifies all of our family getting in without worrying about keys. Top this off with a perfect location next to the village and gondola, these Treehouse condos are simply fantastic accommodations!
“The perfect Place...”
This was the perfect place for our group of 12 people to stay for our weekend in Mammoth. Not only was the condo spacious enough for everyone to spread out comfortably with all its great features, but you could not ask for a better location. Literally 45 steps from the front door to the village gondola, shopping and great restaurants. The owners, Dave and Marian, were very accommodating and available to answer any question that you may have. Additionally, Dan, the property manager was very helpful when needing additional storage space to hold our luggage upon our flight arriving early. needless to say, we will definitely try to book this condo next year!
“Blown away with the Location & Amenities”
I could not have asked for a better experience with the booking process at TreeHouse. Mariam always answered her phone or responded to emails extremely fast. When we arrived at the house I was blown away with the location and the amenities. It was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with equipment we would need for the weekend. I would highly recommend booking with them. You will not be disappointed.
“Amazing Time at the TreeHouse”
Our family had an amazing time during Mammoth Opening Weekend. The condo is so huge it felt more like a home and we had a blast. Linens, towels etc were high quality, outstanding location, easy to book, will hope to book in again soon.
“Our Family Had the Best Time Ever!!”
My family and I had the best time in Mammoth while we stayed at your beautiful Treehouse-II condo. The place accommodated the 16 of us very well and we enjoyed all the amenities. Being so close to The Village was so convenient, the beds were very comfortable, having 4 bathrooms was extremely helpful as you can imagine, the kitchen had everything we needed, the appliances were very nice. The place was very clean and comfortable. We we would love to come back to Mammoth and stay at the same place if possible. Thank you!!
“Loved the Village Treehouse”
We loved The Village Treehouse - II ! Our family spent a week there in July 2013 and throughly enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious, upgraded, and great for families. Three stories, with kitchen/living room on the middle floor, makes for plenty of space for everyone. We will make this our first choice for accommodations in Mammoth for future stays. It's centrally located, walking distance to the Village, restaurants, Starbucks, etc. It was a pleasure dealing with Marian, and Dave. Thanks! Redondo Beach/Manhattan Beach family

“Most Comfy Beds Ever!”
Our group had a great time staying at the TreeHouse. It was perfect and everyone loved the place, close to everything. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were very clean and it felt like we didn't leave home. We are definitely coming back this winter time. Thank you.
“Perfect Wedding in Mammoth Treehouse”
We had the best time at The TreeHouse! 9 of us stayed there for the wedding weekend, and it really made our event complete! We were so impressed with the condo, it was up-to-date and beautiful. It was cozy, yet modern and had all the nice details of a hotel. I especially loved the body lotion in the bathrooms. My fav! Marian was so lovely to deal with and I only wish I had more time to enjoy the condo. The location was incredible and I could have stayed forever!! I want to go back!

“Comfy beds for everyone. Loved it!”
Our entire family had a fantastic time, we brought our kids and grandkids, 11 of our family. Your Treehouse had beds for everyone, and even the fold out in the living room was quite comfortable. We loved our time and no complaints... we changed a light bulb for you in the entry. The kitchen was perfect and we ate our breakfasts and most dinners in. Thanks so much. Dan and Barbara

We stayed at the village treehouse for 7 days and it was such an amazing and relaxing experience. The condo is spacious and extremely clean and upgraded. The beds were very comfortable and having 4 bathrooms was a huge plus. The kitchen was stocked with spices and plenty of dishes and pots. The fireplace was cozy and there was so much wood we barely put a dent in the pile! The convenient location was probably the biggest highlight. A 1 minute walk to the Village Gondola and a 5 minute ride to Canyon Lodge!!! Truly a remarkable vacation home. Highly recommended! Would love to return possibly next season! Thank you so much for sharing you place with us!
