Additional Location Information

Located on Third Street within the village of South Baymouth. South Baymouth is the ferry terminal to and from the Bruce Peninsula, and located on Manitoulin Island, the largest freshwater island in the world. Our village offers a museum of early life in South Baymouth and the surrounding area, many gift shops, restaurants, extensive hiking trails within walking distance from the cottage and located alongside the village, biking lanes with bicycles provided for our guests, the ferry Chi Cheemaun coming and going daily which can be seen from your private beach area, a marina for boating activities, and South Baymouth is an example of a small northern village. The cottage has a private beach (stone) with shallow entry and crystal clear water for fishing, water activities, swimming in summer, a dock, chairs for relaxing by the lake, and a fire pit both at the cottage and at the beach. Manitoulin has Native culture, lots to do and visit, and is a great example of nature in the "near north." There are many "day" trips around the Island to see the many different areas and tourist attractions, or just relax on the "deck" or beach with a good book and a cool drink.
