Additional Location Information

Property is located in a quiet residential area. We are located in a tropical areas of lush vegetation. The property is full of plants and gardens and backs up to a small stream...perfect for viewing wildlife. We are just off the main road connecting Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos. We are 1 mile from the closest beach and just 3 miles to the National Park.
Jungle Creek offers a private shuttle service that can pick up and drop off from San Jose airport to Jungle Creek. Transportation can also be arranged from any area of Costa Rica to Jungle Creek. The price is typically $160 one way. If you have a large group the price can be more.

If you choose to fly to Quepos from San Jose you can book your flight on Sansa Air or Nature Air. The flights cost around $75 each way. This is the quickest way to get to Manuel Antonio in only 20 minutes from San Jose.

If you choose to drive... Highway ( approximately 2.5 hours.)

Upon exiting the main terminal of Juan Santamaria International Airport, take a left. Continue past the gas station and take your second right. Stay on this road for about one mile until you reach a small bridge, followed almost immediately by an intersection. At this intersection take a left and continue on this road until you reach another intersection with signs indicating COYOL to your right and GUACIMA to your left. Veer left towards GUACIMA and turn right at the first road you see following a new sign for TURRUCARES. Continue on this road for approximately two miles until you reach a turnabout leading towards the highway. Follow the signs to OROTINA AND ATENAS. Once you’ve arrived in OROTINA follow the signs to JACO (about an hour’s drive). You will pass the TARCOLES RIVER and CARARA PARK (where you can stop to observe the river’s resident crocodiles). When you reach JACO stay on the main road (do not turn off into the village) and continue straight into PARRITA, the last major town you will see before reaching QUEPOS.

As you approach Quepos the road veers to the right. The right is the paved road and takes you into Quepos. In About 2 Km (1.5 miles), you'll cross a bridge, and enter Quepos. Stay to the left after the bridge. On your left, you will pass Café Milagro, Gran Escape and other businesses. This is the town of Quepos. Continue past the businesses and once you pass the little park on your left, turn left. Now that you turned left, continue straight for approximately 1 mile. You will arrive at an intersection with a soccer field on your immediate left, and businesses on your right. Turn right and head up the hill. This is the way to Manuel Antonio. Your almost there!

As you head up the hill, you will pass Mono Azul on your right, and Club Serena on your left. You will also pass the river rafting building on your left Amigos Del Rio. They usually have a big Yellow School bus under the sign. If it is night time there is a sign that has lights called Ronny’s Place across the street from Amigos Del Rio. The next road after the river rafting building on your left is the entry to Valle Pura Vida. Pay attention after the rafting company because it will be a quick left up a paved road. The paved road will turn into a gravel road. If you pass over a little bridge and head up a really steep hill you have gone to far. Look for a Jungle Creek Vacation Rental Sign (orange and green). Head down the gravel road, and after about one block on the road, you will come to a V, take your first right. The first yellow building on your left hand side is Jungle Creek vacation rentals. There is parking in front of Jungle Creek for our guest. Clark and Paula will be there to welcome you and give you keys.

Welcome to the Jungle!
