Large penthouse studio is located at Villas De Menorca in the beautiful gated community of Club Santiago. Club Santiago is situated perfectly on three mile long Miramar Beach. The beach is wide and gently sloping, safe swimming, clean water, and mesmerizing rolling Pacific surf. Lay on the beach or order a Margarita and enjoy the view from the Oasis Restaurant sundeck bar.
Unforgettable views and ocean breezes over trees make this large studio a great place to relax. Larger than most studios the unit has a full sized bedroom with a new king-sized bed, separate kitchen with eating nook, and bathroom with over-sized tiled shower, and 2 large terraces. The private indoor and outdoor areas with 360 degree views total approximately 900 square feet! The Penthouse is perfectly suited for 2 people to stretch out and enjoy.
Villas De Menorca condos are uniquely designed with many architectural and landscaping features reminiscent of a Spanish Moroccan Villa. In the condo you will enjoy outside living at it's best. Unlike most condos you will enjoy, "total privacy" on either of the two large terraces. Sun or shade is always available. A beautiful 10'X10' offset umbrella adjusts to provide shading as needed on the rear terrace and the front terrace is partially shaded. Enjoy your own yellow and red hibiscus amidst the canopy of tall coconut palms. Savor the best views in Villas De Menorca and Club Santiago, "above the rest". On the grounds, there are two swimming pools set within lush tropical gardens on either side of a large open air Palapa. Guests enjoy tables and chairs, padded sun loungers, large umbrellas, restrooms, wireless internet, and stone charcoal grills.
One of the best golf courses in the area (food/bar/cart rental) is just behind the condo complex. Two grocery stores are within walking distance. Want more shopping? Just walk out to the front gate and catch a regularly available taxi or bus. Or call for a taxi to pick you up at your front steps. Area fishing is world class and a reasonable and reputable charter can be arranged. Chances are good to catch a Sailfish or even a several hundred pound Marlin, as well as abundant Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Red Snapper, or Yellowfin Tuna. Paddle boards, boat and snorkel tours are available for rent at the Oasis Paddle and Beach Club, fronting Miramar Beach and Santiago Bay, just a short walk from the Penthouse. The Oasis restaurant serves the best culinary dishes, reasonably priced. Produce is fresh and fish was likely to have been swimming within 24 hours of being served.
Manzanillo International Airport (ZLO) is closest to Club Santiago. Rental cars and taxis are available. Check to see if there are air specials from your area. Some prefer to fly into Guadalajara (GDL) or Puerto Vallarta (PVR) and take a frequent and reasonably priced executive class ETN bus. Usually not necessary but bus reservations can be made online.

We just returned from 10 nights at this nice Penthouse Condo. The pictures are exactly what you will get, except now there is BBQ and a nice large table on the back patio. It has everything you will need in the kitchen to cook with. The bed is reasonably comfortable, and the hot water in the shower worked great. Big containers of purified water are delivered for a very small fee if you go through the first one. The pools are kept really clean and the lounge chairs are plentiful. Didn't have any problems with mosquitos or insects which was nice. There is no television, but there is wireless. It worked very well on some days and not so well on others, probably based on how many users were online. Steve was really nice to deal with and gave us lots of suggestions. Cecy, Steve's helper down there, was right on time to greet us with the keys and get us taken care of. We had one issue that needed to be resolved upon arrival, but Cecy took care of it with Steve's help as well. Everyone will now have BRAND NEW shower handle controls which work great!!!
Now, you do have to be in reasonably good shape to go up and down all the steps 2 or 3 times a day, so keep that in mind. OR, you can be a little out of shape like me and use the steps in lieu of exercising at the gym on a stairmaster. My thighs are in much better shape now thanks to the stairs. It is very close to everything and you can walk to the beach. There is only one restaurant, the Oasis, but you can walk up the street a couple of blocks and take a bus to town. We rented a car from Guadalajara. I would NOT suggest to anyone that is faint of heart to drive in the city of Guadalajara. The toll road down was great and took 3 1/2 hours.
Feel good about renting this condo from Steve. It is very clean and very relaxing. Thanks Steve. We hope to go back one day. Lenna & Ralph Owens

Never been to this area before but my wife found this condo, price was reasonable and it looked nice. Well, it turned out to be great in all respects. Cecy, very sweet gal who care takes on behalf of the owner, met us upon arrival filled in on everything we needed to know about the place and the area. It was quiet and peaceful the entire week, very well maintained grounds, mid-week clean and new sheets. Quick walk to beach, grocery, restaurants, etc. Good cocktails at the Oasis Bar with some live music and dancing. Easy bus ride to old-town Manzanillo and other small towns. Overall, highly recommend this place and hope we can go back again soon.

This was our 4th year in a row in Manzanillo and the best condo/location so far!
1 - The Condo owner Steve was great to deal with and so was Cecy (the condo manager). Both made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable for the duration of our stay, which was 2 weeks.
2 - The condo - Very clean inside and out. Pretty much insect free, most likely due to the welcome nightly Gecko and Bat visitors!
Fully stocked with everything you would need for a short or longer stay.
Comfortable bed and nice dining nook. Large patios.
No Wifi in the condo but a good signal down by the office where there are tables and chairs to work on your laptop if need be.
The 2 pools are crystal clear and maintained daily.
The condo complex and Club Santiago area in general was very quiet and peaceful except on the holiday long weekend but we fully enjoyed the swell of Mexican families that came to the beaches from larger inland cities.
It must be said that this Penthouse unit is a "walk-up" but we found it perfect for wearing off at least a beer or two each time we came back home! :)
3 - The location - Perfect location! No car needed! Beach and ocean are 2 blocks away. Also some awesome beachside Ramadas...try Marildo's for the Charcoal BBQ Oysters!
Also, Oasis Restaurant is 2 blocks away on the ocean and is great for a little more upscale nice evening dinner. Try the Caesar Salad (invented originally in Mexico by the way!)...best ever!
Very nice community which consists of mostly houses and a few condo complexes on very well manicured grounds.
Two small grocery stores in the area.
Walk a few blocks to catch a Taxi to take you almost anywhere you will need to go for 40-80 pesos.
Fyi..the pictures Steve has on this Flipkey site are exactly what you will see when you arrive.
We will definatley rent this condo again in the future!

We were met at the office upon our arrival, taken to the condo, & shown every thing we needed to know, and introduced to the wonderful lady who would be cleaning our place. I really appreciated the little extras, like the yogurt & fruit. The codo was well stocked with everthing that we needed for our 3 month stay. Being up in the trees, was so worth climbing the stairs.

Staying at the Minorca rooftop suite was Great, the kitchen had everything we needed. Buses and taxies are readily available up the street, to take you to the many different locations for very reasonable prices..We took the bus and just rode to see where we would end up. There is so much to see there..Walking distance to beautiful beaches. Corner stores close by. The best part was the beautiful clean pools and grounds. Very friendly staff. YOu do have to climb a few flights of stairs, but we just concidered it our stairmaster to work off all those Corona's.. We even rescued a dog and brought her home with us, (Mexi). Would definitly go back

My wife and I just stayed at the Penthouse View Condo the first week of February. The property was very easy to find and only 20 minutes from the Manzanillo airport by taxi. While there are some stairs, the climb is well worth the privacy and the fantastic 360-degree views of the mountains and scenery. We never felt crowded in this studio. There was ample storage for our luggage and a lot of space for lounging about. The true test was while we were stuck inside because of rain we never felt claustrophobic, plus the owners provided cards, dvds/player, and some cds/player. The highlight for us was the outdoor living space. With huge front and back patios (back adorned with beautiful flowers), you never get bored with the view. We enjoyed sunrises and breakfasts out back and sunsets with cocktails out front. There is seating in both locations and it was nice to have a choice of sun or shade at pretty much any time of day. This condo is well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed preparing a few of our own meals after visiting the market in Santiago. The dining nook in the kitchen was convenient and comfortable.
While not directly on the beach, we very much enjoyed the location, and the complex itself has two large pools. The beach was only a 5 minute walk and took us past the small Eureka store which we would have needed to stop at anyway for our daily supply of Sol, tortillas, and other goodies. An added bonus was access to the "Casa Club" beach club. While there is public beach access, the beach club has food, a bar, a shower to wash off the salt and sand, a pool, and loungers.
