Are you looking for a quiet, peaceful location or do you prefer something near the beach? Or maybe you have your heart set on a modern, stylish interior. Better yet, how about all of the above?
Welcome to the Tropicana. This newly built, 2,500 square foot, 5th floor condo sleeps seven, with one king bed, one queen, one sleeper sofa and a bunk bed. It has 3.5 bathrooms and a one-car garage.
It’s located on the uncrowded southernmost part of the island, just a short walk from South Beach. Open the front door and two bamboo plants welcome you to your new home in the tropics. A dark wooden chest sits beside them on the coral-hued tile, a hint of the unit’s unique blending of tropical color with modern furnishings and tasteful décor.
The sun-brightened living room is adorned with wood engravings of palm trees and furnished with sofas as comfortable as they are stylish. The wooden dining room table is lit by a chandelier and natural light from the south-facing window.
The open, gourmet kitchen features a breakfast bar and a row of wrought iron bar stools along the granite countertop. Lush green plants atop the wooden cabinets add a tropical accent. A sleek black refrigerator and stove and all modern appliances and cookware make preparing family dinners a pleasure.
Each of the three bedrooms comes with their own private bathroom. The master suite features carved wooden furniture, a ceiling fan in a recessed ceiling and a walk-in closet.
The balcony faces south, giving you a view of the Caxambas Pass and a patch of turquoise ocean with some of the Ten Thousand Islands.
This unit comes with everything you need for your comfort and convenience, including air conditioning, ceiling fans, internet and a washer and dryer. It also gives you beach essentials like an umbrella, beach chairs and cooler for that short walk to the powdery white sands, turquoise waters and endless activities of South Beach.
The Tropicana offers plenty of deluxe amenities of its own, including an incomparable heated pool lined with sun loungers. And you’re just a short walk away from the open-air Marco Walk Plaza and fine dining under the stars at the Apollo Sunset Grille.

This is a super nice condo with lots of space! It is furnished nicely and is just a 10 min. walk to the beach. Bring your own hair dryer as there is not one furnished. Also, make sure you fill out a car-registration card when in the condo lobby or else the association nazi will threaten to tow your car! (Even if you are the only ones on site!) It has a lovely view and it is in a very quiet area. The beds were comfy and it seemed to be well-stocked with everything else that you need. (Although, if you are staying more than a week, you will need to buy some soap for the showers!) We did very little cooking, but the kitchen seemed to be well-stocked as well. Marco properties was great about everything! I would highly recommend this place!

My wife and I along with our four daughters (ages 15, 11, 8 and 6) stayed in the Tropicana 503 for the week of March 31st - April 6th 2012. I cannot say enough positive about our experience. This was our first time to Marco Island and we were originally looking to stay on the Northern end of the island in a house. This is when we spoke with Andrew of Marco Island Vacation Properties. He was quick to point out we would have a much better time staying close to the beach and the Condo he had in mind was the Tropicana which is on the South end right by the beach.
The Condo's were built roughly seven years ago (so relatively new), great accommodations (three bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, plus a pullout couch) and made you feel as if you were right on the beach. It was also great for a family as there were only a total of 8-12 condo's in the entire building, so more of an upscale feel. The onsite pool was also very nice. It was hardly used by anyone else besides our family (how can it be with only 8-12 other condo's in the building :-)). The condo also came with our own garage for items such as beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, buckets, shovels which were already in the garage, again a nice touch), plus bikes, etc. As Andrew mentioned, the views of the ocean from your wrap around deck are spectacular.
My family and I cannot say enough positive things about the Condo or the management company. If you are considering staying on Marco Island, I would highly recommend you call Marco Island Vacation properties and ask for Andrew. If he recommends the Tropicana for you, you will be highly satisfied. We will definitely be back soon!!! Love Marco Island, Tropicana Condo, and Andrew with the Management company.
