Description

When you pull into the driveway landscaped with brightly colored tropical flowers and rows of stately palms, you’ll feel like you’re entering a tropical oasis. Welcome to the Tradewinds.

This 900 square foot, 4th floor beachfront condo sleeps six, with two queen beds, a sleeper sofa and two bathrooms.

Your day will begin on the spacious balcony furnished with two sets of tables and chairs, watching the sun rise over thick clusters of palms.

You’ll prepare breakfast in the bright summer kitchen, fully stocked with modern appliances and cookware, spices and all the supplies you need. The cut out wall makes it easy to hand dishes out to the glass table in the white-tiled dining area.

Now it’s time to gather in the comfort of the living room and plan the day. Hues of blue and turquoise and decorative touches like shells and beach-themed paintings create an easygoing seaside feel. Sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and a backdrop of wind-blown palm trees.

The unit comes with everything you need for the beach, including beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella, so you’ll cross the wooden boardwalk from the Tradewinds to the silken white sands and turquoise waters, where you can wade in warm tide pools in search of shells, or charter a fishing boat, or go snorkeling alongside marine life.

When you’re ready for lunch, how does a poolside barbeque sound? The Tradewinds surrounds you with amenities like gas grills and shaded picnic tables beside a heated pool lined with sun loungers. There’s also a social room with daily activities.

Back in your unit, you’ll relax in air-conditioned comfort and read one of the many books in the bookcase or watch a show on the big screen television. The unit also comes with free wi-fi, which you might want to use to check out the menus of some of Marco Island’s favorite restaurants, like NeNe’s, Doreen’s Cup of Joe, Joey’s Pizza and Thai Sushi by KJ, all just a short walk away.

When the day draws to a close, you’ll retreat to your bedroom that features a television, ample drawer and closet space. You’ll open the sliding glass door to the balcony and fall asleep to fragrant trade winds rustling the palms outside.

It was a perfect day in paradise. Tomorrow you’ll wake up and have another one.
