Description

It’s just the two of you and the heated pool and the beach. This 800 square foot 5th floor beachfront condo sleeps four, with one queen bed, one sleeper sofa, and one bathroom.

You step out to the balcony and there it is, the ocean. You can see palm trees framing white silken sand, and you can see yourself walking along it in search of shells. You find a Sunray Venus Clam shell and a colorful one you can’t name. You put them in your bag, mementos of your trip.

Now you can see the two of you walking along the shore, waves erasing your footprints as you walk. There’s a dolphin playing in the turquoise surf and you can’t believe it, you thought that was something they said on travel sites, not real life, but there he is diving in and out of the water.

You cross the wooden boardwalk back to the Sunset House North, where a bright green oasis of grass and palm trees surround the spacious heated pool with sun loungers and gas grills for poolside barbeques. You can also enjoy the daily activities in the social room.

You’ve heard about Marco Island sunsets and you’re wondering, are they really as beautiful as people say? You go inside, where a wall of windows brightens the cozy interior with natural light.

Now you’re in the kitchen, with all its modern appliances and cookware, and you’re putting ice into the blender because no ordinary cocktail will do the sunset justice. You bring them down to the picnic tables just in time, the orange ball is getting lower. You clink glasses, the sun dips below the horizon, and in its wake, the sky and ocean turn fiery orange. You take a picture but the picture in your mind will always be more vivid.

You’re going to have a special dinner out, and you have so many choices. Marco Island’s favorite restaurants, like Doreen’s Cup of Joe, Joey’s Pizza and Thai Sushi by KJ, are all just a short walk away.

After dinner you return to the perfect comfort of the unit, with its air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free wi-fi, cable, linens and towels. It even has beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella.

Now you’re lying in bed, fragrant trade winds cooling you and filling you with dreams of the adventures that await when you wake up the next morning.

Just the two of you and the beach and heated pool, having the time of your life.
