When you visit the Poinsettia House, you get to taste a bit of paradise. From the moment we walked into the cottage we felt the cool trade winds, heard the chatter of tropical birds, and witnessed the spectacular view of the bay with its stunning hues of turquoise, blues and greens. We knew we were in for a memorable vacation. The house is very well-equipped, the rooms are comfy and styled in "island chic"! We enjoyed watching the beautiful catamarans and sailboats entering the bay as we sat on the deck and "shared" our breakfast with the neighborhood birds. We marveled at the colorful hummingbirds as well. Luciana was SO welcoming. We enjoyed one of her home cooked meals after a day of snorkeling at Anse La Raye. Our taste buds danced with so many delicious flavors! We toured the island with Smalley as our guide. I would recommend the following during your stay: Lunch at the Dasheen Restaurant when you visit the Pitons, dining at the Rainforest Hideaway (order the chocolate torte for dessert: HEAVEN!), the Indian restaurant is very good and service is wonderful, also Capellos offers a variety of restaurants and 5-star service. Whether you're reading a good book on a lazy afternoon, sitting under a tiki hut on the beach or having an umbrella drink while soaking in the pool.... life is SO GOOD when you stay at the Poinsettia House. Thanks, Elaine!!
