Discover a truly unique Maui experience at Hale O Wailele Estate. The name is a Hawaiian expression meaning “House of Waterfalls” and its title is apt: this villa contains an indoor cascading waterfall. You’ll also enjoy panoramic views from the rugged shores of Alaeloa Point, across the turquoise Pacific and over to the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai.
The spacious solarium is a sight to behold. Light streams in through glass panels and a retractable wall to illuminate the lagoon pool. Follow the waterfall’s path as it flows across lava rock, adorned with tropical plants and flowers, before spilling over the side into the hot tub. Head outside and soak up the sun on your private ocean-view deck. Light the barbecue and savor an al fresco feast as the sun sets and the sky explodes in bright colors.
The natural island surroundings follow you further into the home. Beautiful furniture made from a mixture of woods and wicker paneling grace the dining room and kitchen, while potted tropical plants are found throughout. Wallpaper, paintings and upholstery also add flashes of floral color. In the living room, you can relax on an immense sectional sofa that’s backed by a hand-made rock wall. Amateur and pro chefs alike will be drawn to the gourmet kitchen’s high-end appliances. Pineapple carvings adorns the elegant dining room chairs and chandelier.
All three bedrooms contain well-appointed en-suite bathrooms, TVs and charming ceiling fans. The large Master bedroom features a King size bamboo canopy bed and looks out to a breathtaking ocean view. The second room houses two Twin beds and a private, self-contained cottage is home to the remaining bedroom. The cottage includes a kitchen and living area.
You’ll find plenty to do near your private oasis. It’s a ten minute walk to the white sands of Napali Beach. Kapalua Bay is also home to one of the world’s best beaches. There are restaurants and a grocery store minutes away, while serious shoppers can drive fifteen minutes South to Lahaina’s Front Street. Winter visitors can spot humpback whales and sea turtles on the horizon, while golfers will find Kapalua’s championship courses open year-round.

Mahalo for beautiful memories in a beautiful setting!
Left on 01/07/2014 for a stay in January 2014 | Leah
We had an awesome vacation. It was nice to have a beautiful home" rather than stay in a hotel and deal with crowds, etc. This is our 6th Christmas/New Year vacation where, as a family, we meet some place in the world and spend time together. To date, we have celebrated this season in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Maui is now part of that list of well! Our mornings started with coffee on the deck watching the many sea turtles who joined us daily in the bay below. Our days ended with the most amazing sunsets! And in between, we swam, snorkeled and just enjoyed family time! The villa was a wonderful home away from home- luxurious. The ocean views were spectacular and we could do whale watching right from our deck. It had everything we needed. Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards! Our Maui Christmas will always be remembered as one of our favourite vacations and we will think of Hale O Wailele as one of our favourite vacation homes!"

Hale O Wailele
The most important factor for me was privacy which I had.
Left on 12/13/2013 for a stay in December 2013 | Sydney
This magnificent home is situated in an ideal location for doing whatever you want. The beach is a five minute walk and the fun things that Lahina has to offer is a fifteen minute car ride. My favourite thing to do however was to watch the sea turtles frolic in the bay which was right at the foot of our deck!
