This house is nearly perfect. Everything is clean, very nice, works properly, and the location is unbeatable. The Long and Foster rental crew were incredibly nice and made the rental process quick and easy. I really have nothing negative to say about the house except there was one small mystery stain on the comforter in the master bedroom. That definitely knocks the place down one star but if you are OK with that then this place is 5 stars and perfect.
Thank you for your review! We will certainly take the comforter and make sure that is is cleaned. We typically do that often, so it may be a stain that just wont come out. We will address it though. Thanks for staying at Ski Chalet, and we hope to have you back again soon.

This house was great for our weekend. The setup fit the three families perfectly. Going on the hot tub after the kids went to sleep allowed the adults to enjoy a really nice time. Plus the house is close to many activities and the kitchen has everything you may need. Would definitely visit again!

Was very upset at the house we rented. Not at all as advertised. Never used Long and Foster before-always their competitor. After much complaining-to a woman who in my opinion gave us body language as to say "oh well", I attempted book a place thru the other company. Someone at Long and Foster finally came thru with a spectacular place that we were very pleased with. This just might have saved L&F; future business, as we have a family reunion in Deep Creek just about every year for the past 10 or so years. We know of the chalet that we stayed, and if it is available next year we more than likely will attempt to rent it. If not, I am not sure that I will deal with L&F.; I cannot take the chance on going thru the same aggravation that caused the start of our vacation stay this year to be delayed.

The house was truly a "Ski Chalet." Clean sheets and towels, cozy and roomy, and the perfect location for a little kids to ski in and ski out.
The only complaint is that the heat seems to be off in this house. We were there when the highs for the day were 16 and the 2nd floor bedrooms that the 5 kids stayed in, would not heat up unless we cranked up the heat all the way. The heater was blowing only luke warm air and the rooms were chilly. Uneven heating throughout the house.

We stayed in Chalet 245 over Christmas 2010. This was a fantastic location, right outside the ski lifts.
To top it all off the hot tub was incredible to just sit in with a cold beer after a long day of snowboarding.
