We appreciated you listening you to our last review by adding more dishes, pans, etc in the kitchen. It was great. The shower door in the master bedroom upstairs would not close, the fireplace downstairs would not work and there should be more than one trash can in the kitchen or at least a bigger one, especially when you have so many people staying. Lastly, I would go to a "keyless" entry like other rentals we use. It really is a hassle to drive an extra 10 miles just to pick up keys. This isn't a very enjoyable set-up. If so, the keys to the pool hottub, etc could already be in the book at the residence. These were minor issues in comparison to our wonder stay at Steden Court. We loved everything else and greatly enjoyed ourselves. Since this is a true ski-in/ski-out, we are hard pressed to use another home. We have been her int he past and we will use it in the future.

The house worked great for our large group wanting to hit the slopes regularly. We have a salt system pool at home, but more than half our group had a hard time with their eyes and the salt in the pool. The downstairs fireplace never worked. The shades on the first floor family room did not work properly, we even changed some batteries, but didn't help, very frustrating not to be able to see out all the windows or be able to shut them at night. We were past the check in time at the rental office so we went to store as directed and had to wait for someone to bring the keys/paperwork
Thank you for your review! The fireplace has been fixed, we are not sure what the problem was during this time. The blinds also seem to be working OK-they are a very advanced type of blind that is sometimes hard to operate. We apologize for the inconvenience that you had. The owners at the home are very hands on and take pride in their place-so they like to do things to make it nice and to fix issues for future guests. Steden Court is one of a kind-and tru ski in ski out with tons of things to do inside.

This is a great house right at the top of the Main Street lift. We had a great time using the pool, sauna, and hot tub. The house has up to date furnishing and we enjoyed the fireplaces. We would definitely rent this house again. Everything was easy and we had one small problem that the property management folks addressed right away.
Thanks for renting and choosing Long and Foster! Steden Court is an amazing house, and one of a kind for sure! Come see us again.

Check in with Long & Foster was easy. Everything was well explained. House was lovely. Felt like a real home, not a rental. Handled all 18 of us with no problem! Kids had a great time in the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. One tiny complaint was the main TV on the 3rd floor was not connected to cable but it was perfect otherwise (and there were plenty of other tv's).

we love the area! we were a total of 19 people in the house and it was far from caothic. Since the house has 3 levels and each level has a living area you can actually have some peace not to mention the secret room in one of the top floor bedrooms with a bucket full of toys!! that was the highlight of the trip all the kids will stay there for hours. The only draw back was the outdoor top that never achieve a great water temperature it was only 86 degrees F and we let it heat for hours. The ski in and out actually its toward a black slope but its more like a blue one, although there are 2 chairlift within feet of the house that you can jump in into a more easier slopes (green)There is a big x mass tree in the living room!

Our group of 20 enjoyed the beautiful setting atop of the mountain overlooking the lake and Ski resort. The view was enhanced by daily snowfall creating our own winter wonderland. The ski in/out functionality provided instant access to all the fresh powder and made it easy to check back in for meals and other activities. The spacious and open air design of the home allowed us to flow freely and visit as well as providing adequate space to retreat. The kitchen seemed well stocked, as we prepared and served all of our meals in a large group setting. The hot tub and heated swimming pool were a huge hit, providing recreation for those that didn't ski and therapy for those that did. The nightly billiards games created many challenge opportunities for those wanting to participate in the action.

Overall, the group really had a wonderful time. People slept well and we enjoyed most of what the home had to offer. Being a ski-in/ski-out is always a plus with this group. The living room area was perfect and so was the two large tables for our meal time together. Disappointments: The living room tv would not work except for the use of the DVD player and the upstairs master bedroom's tv didn't work at all. There wasn't enough soup bowls for the amount of people that the home can handle. My wife called the office phone many, many, many times but only got a busy signal. When we paid what we did, someone should have made sure that "everything" was in working order. Inspite of these three items, our stay was still a good memory and we are glad we used this home for our annual trip to Wisp with our college students. As you see below, most things were excellent or very good except the service. We would love to come back again but I'm hesitant. We rent homes several times a year with different groups and we love coming to the Wisp. The students loved the game room and fireplace, as well as, the hottub and indoor pool.
