Some more house reviews:
Ciao! Me and my brother Marco stayed at Ian's place for 2 days during our trip to Malta. Everyone can be impressed by the beauty of this house, completely made of stone. The atmosphere is very cozy, typical and reflects the character of the island of Malta. The house is very spacious with faces and curious views, just outside the medieval walls of the city of Rabat. We felt like at home from the first moment and Ian is the greatest host anyone could ask for. We strongly suggest you to stay at Ian's house in Malta!
The first idea you'll have when you'll see it is going to be: Damn! Why don't i live here?!? So the second best thing you can do if you don't own it...experience it! (and you should!) It's a really great and an ORIGINAL house with the location that will satisfy your every need when in Malta, and at the same time provide you a place of piece and quiet if you desire it. Ian is very helpful and a trustworthy guy and can only be viewed upon as a great bonus at already an absolutely unique experience of becoming a true Maltese for few days.
Hi, there. I stayed in Ian's place for almost one week. What can I say: great location, typical, cousy, cool (looks and temperature) and most of all original and comfortable at the same time. If you would like to visit Malta and have a great time, without worries and enjoying the local way of living (not really affected by tourist hustle) that is the place to be. Besides that, Ian is a great and trustworthy guy and can give you all the tipps you would need to enjoy Malta on and off the beaten track. Cheers
I stayed in this lovely house right in the center of Mdina! It was an amazing experience & definitely worth staying & checking out. It is in the center of the former capital of Malta, the medieval town Mdina, close to the bus & conveniently located near amazing attractions, delicious restaurants & lovely local shops! The weather is beautiful & don't miss the blue lagoon! You won't regret your stay! :)
I have known Ian for the past 13 years and has always been a great friend. He's trustworthy and always ready to lend a hand to who ever is in need. Extremely sociable and will definitely show anyone a good time. His place reflects a lot of Ian's qualities, it's authentic, creative, comfortable and beautiful ... just to mention a few. I would recommend him in a heart beat.
I spent one week in Malta with a friend of mine, and Ian was definitively the best, charming and easy-going host you can imagine. He is not just openminded and very friendly, you had the impression after just some minute talking that he really knows the island and can give more than just the tipical tourist travel tips. The house in Rabat is beautiful and simple, the perfect mix between historical style and modern comfort.
This is probably one of the most unique places you will find available for rent in Malta. Once part of the old capital city Mdina (which is an Arabic Medina), it has all the features of a traditional Maltese house, built similarly to an Arabic Rhiad. I would suggest this place to someone who is coming to Malta to see the culture of Maltese people and the history of Malta rather than someone coming here to party.
I spent a week in Ian's house with my girlfriend. It is trully the most beautiful house we have ever been in. Too bad we cannot afford houses like these with our weather. There is plenty of space and style! Wonderful place worth going.
I stayed in Ian's house in Malta and was not only impressed with his honest character and excellent communication skills, but I also loved the house itself! It's got a cool open space with a classic Maltese feel. It's a wonderful place to relax after a day of touring. Highly recommended!
