A spacious house in a central location

Left on Nov 05, 2010 for a stay in August 2010

There were plenty of bedrooms (all with bathrooms) for the whole family which meant we had our own spaces. The living area was very spacious. The kitchen was not especially well equipped but as we ate out most of the time this did not bother us much. The garden would be good for eating out though we didn't use it. There is loads to do in the area and some great places to eat especially the …

Beautiful Cottage with lovely hosts

Left on Nov 18, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Rented this cottage with my children and my Mum. We had a fabulous week. The weather was reasonably kind and we were able to get out every day. But to come back to this lovely property was the real treat of the holiday. Beautifully decorated, fantastic facilities with a log burner to keep us cosy. An excellent pub as well right on our doorstep for tea every evening with a landlady who …

Cheap and cheerful

Left on May 14, 2010 for a stay in February 2010

Overall this cottage represented good value for money, and I can recommend it on that account.

On the good side, the furnishings were quite new and of reasonable quality, both in the living room and in the bedrooms.

On the downside:
- The diswasher was too small and too underpowered. It didn't get the crocks clean; many of the plates and glasses etc were just slightly dirty when we arrived; …

Lovely little place

Left on Feb 24, 2013 for a stay in February 2013

My wife, kids and I stayed in this cottage in Feb of 2013, we have become fairly familiar with such properties as we've stayed in a fair few of them while I've been contracting. On this occasion however we were staying at the cottage while we were checking out the area and looking at more permanent houses.

Anyway we booked this one via the Sykes web site and to be honest it was our second …

Fantastic!

Left on Dec 08, 2009 for a stay in October 2009

13 of us stayed in this fantastic barn converstion! Fantastic location very close to Tittesworth Dam for a walk/run. The bedrooms were all roomy and fab and plenty of bathrooms!

We also had a lovely walk up to the Roaches and lucky for us the weather was glorious in October!

Mrs Reaney was very friendly and showed us round - bottles of wine and the chocolates were a nice welcome touch.
