She's an amazing top floor, one bedroom designer apartment hidden inside a heritage building right in the heart of Melbourne's funky laneway district. With large beautiful balcony and rustic and eclectic furnishings - you will fall in love with Melbourne's city life! Perfect for a couple or single wanting a short relaxing stay. The balcony has unique shades of green glass panels that allow light and air through the apartment. There are two summer deck chairs on the balcony for relaxing and a collection of seasonal herbs growing!
The apartment is located on the quaint and eclectic McKillop Street which is the historic laneway at the start of Hardware Lane. Great for dining alfresco, you can catch jazz bands playing on the weekend in a variety of cool restaurants and bars dotted along this hip strip.
The apartment has a queen sized bed and a large king single daybed/couch (2.4m long) that can be used by a third guest. Please let us know if you would like this option and we'll have it ready for your arrival. Just make sure you specify in your booking comments that you would like to use two beds whether you are three guests or two travelling individually.
All of Melbourne's delights are right on your doorstep! Get a coffee from the Social Enterprise cafe 'Street' (nearby) or head north across Bourke Street and stroll up to the famous and eclectic 'Hardware lane' for a plethora of awesome cafes, restaurants and bars. Cross Elizabeth and Collins Street to reach Flinders Lane and the cafe hotspot 'Degraves street'! You could not get a better location for exploring Melbourne! Situated at the start of Hardware Lane, but on the quiet end, the apartment is a hop, skip and jump from Bourke Street Mall.

The apartment is very close to all forms of public transport (trams, trains), and walking distance to supermarkets, shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. It's 1 - 2 minutes walk to Bourke Street Mall, Hardware Lane, Little Collins Street, Centre Place, Degraves St, Flinders Street station, Victoria markets and awesome Flinders Lane! AND I have prepared a locals recommendations guide filled with the best spots for eating, drinking and exploring around the city and the cool local suburbs like Fitzroy and Carlton.
This is not a share place - you get the entire apartment to yourself! All the basic cooking condiments like, salt + pepper, olive oil etc. are provided as well as fair trade coffee and tea but with so many awesome cafes and restaurants around you may not want to cook at all! Melbourne's funky laneway district is uber cool and fun. Across the street is the buzzing restaurant and bar laneway called Hardware lane and on the weekend is filled with live music and lots of excellent places to eat and drink. McKillop St is a heritage laneway that is peaceful and lined with a handful of cute cafes and restaurants. The area is safe and close to all forms of transport. Melbourne is one of the best cities to stay in and has so much to explore by foot or tram! Walk to the Queen Victoria Markets of take a tram to Fitzroy.
There are trams and trains within a few minutes walk of the apartment and given its central location you can walk to many parts of the city in no time at all!
