We stayed here for a week or so. The house is in a back street of Brighton, but easily walkable to the main village and some closer shops (couple of great cafes, a small grocery store with a decent wine shop attached) and walkable to the beach. There are other shops in nearby Dendy Village, including a great place - Houlihans - which has home ready meals every day. Ideal for a home from home. Brighton Place is not too far from public transport, but not ideal.
The house is large, bright and has plenty of space for a family stay. The upstairs is particularly good - the downstairs is a little less so. No real space outside, and the layout is a bit austere, but the kitchen is decent and perfectly good for staying in and cooking for yourself.
