The English Owner specialises in sensitive Restoration of period property and has made every attempt to keep the property as close to, symbolically, age related in-style as practicable whilst ensuring that La Maison Manoir can meet and fulfil modern expectations and demands.

William Morris Wall coverings complimented by a palette of Farrow and Ball Estate range colours to accentuate period detail sympathetically harmonise without attempting too bold a statement ! Second French Empire, style, is a tall order for any designer and very hard to achieve, or at least, pass-off as authentic.

Today La Maison Manoir can boast the status of being a by-product of the Second French Empire Paris re-birth which, although no Chateau, still holds a significant place in French architectural history. La Maison Manoir aesthetically represents “Grandeur” through a relatively simple but very era-specific design.

The Village of Ménéac

Ménéac: A Village location in the heart of magical rural Brittany with its eye-catching views and Celtic allure.

La Maison Manoir is located opposite the village school and street also boasts the Mayors Office, Library, Pharmacy, Pizza-Bar (with Pool Table) and General Store. At the top of the street is the Church, Newsagents, Post Office, Credit Agricole Cash-Point Machine, Boulangerie / Patisserie and Restaurant.

La Maison Manoir is well situated to discover popular tourist sites this fascinating, historic region has to offer. Ménéac Village has a population of circa 2,000 inhabitants. This has the advantage of NOT turning into a Tourist Ghost Town out of season, making a great location all year round.
