“Better than Mexico all-inclusive” Better than Mexico all inclusives. Surfside 1 in South Padre, TX Spi78597 was staying at the beautiflly updated beach condo was very relaxing. Frp, tje flat screem TV to the Granite in the bathroom there was everything my family and I needed for a home away from home. (Even a hair blow dryer) Surfside 1 in S. P. “great condo...great place to stay” The place was great! Everything was included. There was enough linens and towels, very plentiful.There was even beach toys foy the kids, they loved it, as well as all kind of beach accessories. It was also very spacius and very clean. We loved the balcony facing the beach. We will definetly be going back next year. Marie was great as well!!! Thank you Marie.

“The sound of the waves, right outside your door, are like a lull” We had a "rough time" getting here (mechanical problems with the plane, canceled flight, etc.) but the cottage soothed our tired souls! We found the drum of the waves to be the best lullaby and the fresh air and abundant sunshine to renew our spirits. We appreciated the personal art on the walls and the large open space. For folks who enjoy cooking with local produce, the well stocked kitchen, the large number of pots/pans/utensils, and the full sized refrigerator are perfect. There was plenty of hot water in the shower (and good water pressure!), the furniture was comfortable (brought back memories of beach houses from our childhood), and the large counter surface in the "dressing room" was perfect for all of our "stuff". We used the outdoor patio table for several breakfasts and dinners, watched a neighbor vacationer fish from the sea wall, and took daily walks on the nearly deserted beach. There were many informative books in the cottage along with maps, Dvds, etc. We used the guide books but were too busy enjoying Oahu to need any other form of entertainment! Although we have traveled extensively in the past few years, this was our first trip to Hawaii. We have already recommended the cottage to family and friends - thank you, Peter, for sharing your wonderful home.

“Feels like home--but warm and sunny!” We traveled with family and were happy to be able to rent two units next door to each other (A201 & A202). We really loved the condos--the colors, furniture, and artwork really gave the units an island feel. The spacious units with cozy furnishings, comfortable beds, beach gear, well-stocked kitchen, and convenient location made our stay especially relaxing--just 10-15 min walk to shops, marketplace, and a-Bay beach. We cooked quite a bit, so the availability of olive oil, vinegars of all flavors, butter, spices, and other kitchen condiments and accoutrement's were especially appreciated. You even have the choice of brewed coffee or espresso! To save money and get more selection, rather than do most of our shopping at the Queen's marketplace, we stocked up at Costco in Kona and Foodland in Waimea. We contributed to the pantry and fridge by leaving goodies for the next visitors (just as the previous visitors had done). The 2nd floor was nice because we could keep the windows open to let the breeze through rather than use the air-conditioning. With the windows open, we were all up at 6am to the sound of squawking birds and noisy buses and trucks. Since we wanted to go running before it got too hot, the sound of birds in the morning was better than the buzzer of an alarm clock. Although we were surprised by the road noise (it was definitely enough to wake us up when the windows were open), it wasn't enough to discourage us from staying here. The other choice would be to stay on the golf course side of the building that doesn't have the sunset view and can get really windy). A202 is a bit larger (3 bathrooms) than a201, but both units had their own charm. 201 has brighter bedrooms and a bigger master bedroom, but 202 has a bigger patio table that easily seated 8 and a brighter kitchen. Last, but not least--Sylvia was a wonderful host!

“Great vacation with beautiful views!” We arrived to PCB late in the evening. There was no need to check in, the keyless entry is very convenient. The condo is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. My family and I really enjoyed the spacious beaches, lack of crowds, pools and scenery. Much of the evenings spent on a huge ocean front wrap around balcony with great views. The owners are very friendly and easy to get in touch with. My family loved this place so much that we have already booked another week with Ilia in June. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

“Fantastic Home, Fantastic area!!!” It was hard to leave our week at Sun and Strands and we can't wait to go back! The home is lovely, the views are fantastic, and the area has a great feel. But renting from Vida was the start of a great experience! She is the most wonderful host. She takes great pride in her beach house and sincerely wants people to have a great time and enjoy their vacation. The accommodations are as described: upscale and well put together. Everything we needed was there, from appliances to beach chairs. Everything was easy. The views (especially the sunsets) are spectacular. There is an easy walk to the main drag to grab a meal or coffee. The beach was a little further to walk to, but the funicular helps if you need it and once down there, it is one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to -- and I've been to many. The harbor is just a few minutes away and the drive to Disney wasn't bad either. We expected to have a great time, it was a vacation. But we didn't expect to fall in love with the area and visit a place to which we cannot wait to return. Thank you, Vida! We'll surely see you soon!

“Beautiful Condo” Perfectly located, beautiful decor, updated appliances and quiet location. It does not have a ocean view but steps away from pool and beach. We are a family of 4 and were very comfortable. The sofa couch was great for our kids but I think adults would not like it. We would absolutely stay here again.

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY, CLAY COURTS AMAZING, POOLS AND HOT TUB PERFECT BIKING AND BEACH AWESOME.” We Love The Island it is a great place for families found an excellant church to worship at GRACE COMMUNITY. “Island Paradise” The moment we arrived, exhausted after many delays and problems, the Thomas' home became our home. The condo is well appointed, with comfortable beds, a wonderful kitchen and a fully stocked linen closet, right down to beach towels. Laine, Kevin and Howard are so responsive and saw to all of our needs. Location was prime. We walked to get groceries, eat and do other shopping. There were 7 miles of beaches to explore and the quaint villages of anna Maria and Cortez and Bridge Street kept us occupied when we weren't soaking up the sun. The lanai was my favorite place to drink my coffee and check out the action at the pool each morning . We ate the majority of our meals there, under the twinkling lights. It was a wonderful month!

“Updated condo, great pool, awesome owner” This is a great rental condo. It is in a great location on a marina, just across the street from the beach (just an easy 5 minute walk). A real bonus is the location near the Santini Plaza. The Plaza has great restaurants, a liquor store, a hardware store and other shopping. There is a CVS next to the Plaza. The pool is beautiful and the largest on the island. It was great to have the extra space of a 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit. Vito is a fantastic owner. He is easy to contact and genuinely cares about his renters.
