“Excellent place for a holiday family gathering.” Our family of 9 met at Hermitage Hills to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Each of our married couples had a room in this spacious estate and were able to rest and relax in a group and in pairs. The Lord provided gorgeous weather so we could also enjoy the beautiful grounds and ponds. Some wanted to do Black Friday shopping and were able to do that as well because outlet malls were not far away.

“excellent back woods getaway” What a wonderful house to stay in. Everything is there that you need and it is very clean, all you half to bring is the food you want to fix and eat. The Kitchen is really nice and has everything you need. This was our second time to Lindberg's Landing, that is how much we liked it and if we come back up to Munising this is the place to stay. It is very quiet and peaceful there. The owner Lisa is awesome to and if you need anything or help she is right there. The lake is nice and there is a fishing boat there to use which was nice. There is places to hike on the property for those who like to be outdoors. We enjoyed this a lot. And there is a lot of waterfalls in the area to go to and thy are very nice and worth the time to go see. Me and my husband stayed there for two weeks in Sept. and loved it. Linda and Denny

“Dream house in the North woods” My family loved staying at Cranberry Lake Lodge. The house was clean and spacious with a large deck and a fantastic view of Cranberry Lake. Located in Hiawatha National Forest, it's a little drive to Munising and Lake Superior, but it's worth it if you like the peace and quiet of the North Woods. We immediately felt at home in this beautiful house on the lake. It has all of the bells and whistles. The only negative comment I have is that we had trouble on our arrival with the lock box that holds the housekey. I called Lisa and she got back to me right away. Other than that, our stay was a great and memorable one.

“Relaxing and fun cabin vacation!” Our family stayed at this cabin in June and had a great time! When we got there we loved the rustic decor and all the space to spread out since there were 8 of us. Really super clean and there was even an extensive book of local information that helped us plan our activities since we'd never been to Saugatuck before. Even though it's a cabin, it still had all the comforts of home. I really appreciated the high speed internet and my husband loved the 5 TVs. The owners were super nice and called to see if we needed anything on our first day. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool every day and also fishing on the dock. It is about 1 1/2 miles from Saugatuck which I liked because in town it was so busy, but the neighborhood was pretty quiet and relaxing. My only complaint is that our week went too fast! We are already planning to come back next summer.

“A wonderful place for renewal” Olga and Pat's home in South Haven is exactly that..a haven of lovely peace and quiet, but with wonderful options nearby. Their home is decorated by Olga with her incredible sense of taste and practicality, fully stocked with every amenity that one could wish, plus super comfy beds. I love the reading nook adjacent to the master bedroom, a cozy spot on rainy days. Location is perfect; two short blocks to the lake and beaches; also close to town and nearby restaurants and markets. The property is exquisitely landscaped, with a backyard that offers a variety of activities. Olga and Pat are a down-to-earth couple, friendly and very accommodating. We absolutely loved Sabina's Sandcastle and hope to return soon.

“Best Kept Secret in Southwest Michigan-Heart of Wine Country” As a fairly well known celebrity, I was looking for privacy, seclusion and beauty. Away from it all but still close to many friends/family in Chicago. I have traveled to many places in my life and have been to Union Pier/Southwest Michigan a number of times in the past six years, but I have never expierienced an ambience so perfect that one has to experience it to believe it. No matter what I say, it will not do this wonderful property justice. I will try. Secluded and Private. The beautiful and quiet lake. The smell of the flowers and trees, the beautiful natural light, attention to detail, beautiful wood work, art, a beautiful kitchen with appliances and flatware, silverware, and glassware that are beautiful as much as they are functional, comfortable beds, a beautiful 3 season room overlooking the lake all create a very special environment. I dare to say that had it rained my entire stay, I would have been content to stay in the cottage and enjoy a property that the owner obviously holds dear. The property was clean, the amenities were beyond what one would find in a four or five star hotel, and all claims by the owner in the listing were accurate and truthful. The pictures accurately portrayed the layout and beauty of the cottage. I must say, I was as surprised to find that Sanctuaire is on a dead end in a quiet residential street with a wonderful neighborhood to stay and I found a number of excellent eating options although I must admit, I did cook one meal in the cottage due to the fact that there are wonderful market on Chemery Street. For those who like it, I found the French Restaurant an excellent choice. The Thai restaurant was also a great place to enjoy other ethnic cuisine. The cottage is conveninent and very close to Lake Michigan. And yes, it is minutes from the house. I hope to stay at the cottage again this fall. Thank you Mona. “Perfect lakeside getaway!” We had an amazing time at this sweet little cabin! There were boats of all kinds to use to our liking, fishing poles and two grills to boot with all supplies included! Perfect for a relaxing getaway for a couple, or an amazing spot for children with lots of opportunity for exercise and entertainment! We will definitely be staying again!

“Cute, convenient, quite cottage.” My wife and I stayed here for four night at the end of July. It is a cute rustic cabin with room for two - four people. It is close to everything in the Traverse area. Nestled on Duck lake peninsula, it is a great place for fishing. I caught 4 large-mouth bass out of the nearby canal alone. The owner is very nice and prompt in her responses. The peninsula has four different spots where you can access the lake. Good if you are looking for a quick weekend getaway!

“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!
