“excellent back woods getaway” What a wonderful house to stay in. Everything is there that you need and it is very clean, all you half to bring is the food you want to fix and eat. The Kitchen is really nice and has everything you need. This was our second time to Lindberg's Landing, that is how much we liked it and if we come back up to Munising this is the place to stay. It is very quiet and peaceful there. The owner Lisa is awesome to and if you need anything or help she is right there. The lake is nice and there is a fishing boat there to use which was nice. There is places to hike on the property for those who like to be outdoors. We enjoyed this a lot. And there is a lot of waterfalls in the area to go to and thy are very nice and worth the time to go see. Me and my husband stayed there for two weeks in Sept. and loved it. Linda and Denny

“Amazing house rental and fantastic location for lots of hiking!” My husband and I and our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Lodge. It is a wonderful place, perfectly clean, and everything you could want in a home. It is also a fantastic location to hikes of new routes every day for more than a week! We didn't even get to do all the hikes we wanted to do. You are also not far from restaurants and groceries too. I highly recommend the Moose Lodge :)

“Dream house in the North woods” My family loved staying at Cranberry Lake Lodge. The house was clean and spacious with a large deck and a fantastic view of Cranberry Lake. Located in Hiawatha National Forest, it's a little drive to Munising and Lake Superior, but it's worth it if you like the peace and quiet of the North Woods. We immediately felt at home in this beautiful house on the lake. It has all of the bells and whistles. The only negative comment I have is that we had trouble on our arrival with the lock box that holds the housekey. I called Lisa and she got back to me right away. Other than that, our stay was a great and memorable one.

“Great place to stay!” We truly enjoyed staying here. Very nice home with lots of space for everyone. Love the open floor plan. Close to town and local attractions but very private. Huge porches, nice garage. Well appointed. Sauna is a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Hiawatha's Hideaway Rentals is great to work with - very professional and dependable. Look forward to our next stay!

“Great rental” My husband and I stayed in the downtown cottage with our two year old daughter. It was a perfect size for us. The location was convenient for walking to shops, restaurants, and the boat tour launch. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. We had a great trip and enjoyed Munising and the surrounding areas.

“Recharged” I have stayed at Heaven several times over the past 8 years. I find it hard to believe that there is a more tranquil and relaxing place to be. Everything you need is provided. For those who like to wander off and sight see, the destinations are endless. For someone like me, who likes to relax and get away from being busy, it is perfect. The silence is deafening.

“A wonderful place for renewal” Olga and Pat's home in South Haven is exactly that..a haven of lovely peace and quiet, but with wonderful options nearby. Their home is decorated by Olga with her incredible sense of taste and practicality, fully stocked with every amenity that one could wish, plus super comfy beds. I love the reading nook adjacent to the master bedroom, a cozy spot on rainy days. Location is perfect; two short blocks to the lake and beaches; also close to town and nearby restaurants and markets. The property is exquisitely landscaped, with a backyard that offers a variety of activities. Olga and Pat are a down-to-earth couple, friendly and very accommodating. We absolutely loved Sabina's Sandcastle and hope to return soon.

“Best Kept Secret in Southwest Michigan-Heart of Wine Country” As a fairly well known celebrity, I was looking for privacy, seclusion and beauty. Away from it all but still close to many friends/family in Chicago. I have traveled to many places in my life and have been to Union Pier/Southwest Michigan a number of times in the past six years, but I have never expierienced an ambience so perfect that one has to experience it to believe it. No matter what I say, it will not do this wonderful property justice. I will try. Secluded and Private. The beautiful and quiet lake. The smell of the flowers and trees, the beautiful natural light, attention to detail, beautiful wood work, art, a beautiful kitchen with appliances and flatware, silverware, and glassware that are beautiful as much as they are functional, comfortable beds, a beautiful 3 season room overlooking the lake all create a very special environment. I dare to say that had it rained my entire stay, I would have been content to stay in the cottage and enjoy a property that the owner obviously holds dear. The property was clean, the amenities were beyond what one would find in a four or five star hotel, and all claims by the owner in the listing were accurate and truthful. The pictures accurately portrayed the layout and beauty of the cottage. I must say, I was as surprised to find that Sanctuaire is on a dead end in a quiet residential street with a wonderful neighborhood to stay and I found a number of excellent eating options although I must admit, I did cook one meal in the cottage due to the fact that there are wonderful market on Chemery Street. For those who like it, I found the French Restaurant an excellent choice. The Thai restaurant was also a great place to enjoy other ethnic cuisine. The cottage is conveninent and very close to Lake Michigan. And yes, it is minutes from the house. I hope to stay at the cottage again this fall. Thank you Mona. “Fantastic rental” I stayed at the Sandy Beach Lake Retreat the week of August 6 - August 13 with my son, husband, mother and in-laws. Everyone enjoyed the property. It had plenty of room and no one felt like we were in each other's way. The rental is very clean and well maintained. Nettie, the caretaker was excellent to work with as well as Dawn, the owner. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Michigan. Highly recommend.

“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!
