I lost 4 Euros in the drying machine and when I asked for the money to be refunded on the day of my departure, the caretaker gave me an excuse that the manager had to open up the machine to get the money. I was on my way to the airport to catch my flight, so I didn't bother to hassle with him. It seems that this is a money making scheme for the caretaker every time a customer loses money in the machine. My overall impression was that I may have lost 4 Euros, but the caretaker has lost his integrity!

The apartment was clean and met the needs of a family including free wifi. The kitchen and laundry appliances were good although the washing machines needed some instructions. We lost quite a few Euro coins trying to work them out. The owners were helpful and accommodating although not always available during the day. The pullout sofa was very comfortable. The apartment is not within walking distance of the centre of Milan although there is a nearby bus which leaves regularly and connects to a tramstop which then takes you into Milan centre. It is well priced for Milan.

We are a family of 3 and travelled with another couple (friends) with 2 children they stayed in another apartment -equally great. We arrived late on a Sunday but check-in was done quickly and Mrs Elena even brought us coffee, cake and juice. The apartment was the perfect size for us and it was new, modern, warm and clean. We were within walking distance to the Duomo 30-45 min. We stopped halfway at a lovely coffee shop The Teuile, very friendly people. We went there for breakfast every morning.

We stayed at this apartment which is a very good location if you have a car staying while staying in Milan. The service is not great and dispite the fact that they person who checks you in lives in the building the charge you extra if you are half an hour late for check in, we got stuck in traffic from the airport and they charged us 20 Euro even though the guys leaves there and didn't have to make his way there. The apartment is new and clean but there was no toilet roll and no duvets. And when we asked for it, we only got two blankets, where it was 4 of us.
In the booking it was mentioned there is parking for a charge, but when we got there they told us there is non available and we were told it is ok to park outside, and we got a hefty fine for it the next morning!
