This was our 5th trip to Moab, and have rented several condos before in this area. First, the directions for Rim Village need to specify that although the technical address is Spanish Valley Drive, there are several other streets with different names that are needed to get to the specific condo. We weren't the only ones wandering around confused for awhile! One of the keys for this condo didn't work properly, so one of the cycling occupants was locked out for awhile waiting for others to return from a hike. The grill was low on propane; we could only use it once. There wasn't a basic condiment like salt. Not very clean, LOTS of dust on the blinds and on bedroom lamps, etc. Not enough wastebaskets (bedrooms should have), nothing but sheets for the rollaway bed. No hair dryer in second bathroom. Fairly close to the highway, so couldn't have the bedroom windows open at night. The layout of the condo was nice enough, but there's enough competition in Moab that more attention to detail and standard basics found in most other condos is warranted. I would not return to this condo. Read more
Thank you for your recent stay. Our check in instructions for Rim Village include not only the address, but the unit address, and a detailed complex map identifying your condo. We also place the guests name on the front door. Please make sure to bring your check in instructions with you, and it should be easy to locate your condo. We ask all guests to notify us immediately of any issues during their stay so that we can address them immediately and make your stay more comfortable. We would have happily sent a housekeeper out to address your issues and bring any extra items that were requested. All our service vehicles have spare propane tanks, and we would have swapped this out for you. It is important to note that we do not provide disposable items such as salt, sugar, flour, spices, etc. for safety and sanitary reasons. This condo is an end unit, and provides great views of the Moab Rim. It's very popular for that reason, but it is a bit closer to the highway. As you noted, there is no highway noise with the windows closed. Thank you.
"A good place to stay"

The overall condition of the house was good. The only one thing we are not satisfied. We booked for 8 people, and there are 3 bedroom with 3 beds in total. It was good to find two spare folded beds. However, no quilt was found for these two folded beds.

This is a new (2006) condo something over 4 miles outside Moab, very clean and quiet, lots of light. However, if you plan to use the kitchen, be forewarned that the management company provides only paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, period. Bring your own salt, condiments, plastic wrap, everything. Same for using the laundry machines: bring your own soap.

We stayed in this condo for Thanksgiving weekend, and it could not have been much better! We were 4 adults, 1 three-year-old, and 1 dog, and we had plenty of space and still some privacy.
The layout is open and inviting, and the furniture is high-quality, sturdy, and comfortable. The two queen beds were nice and firm (and I heard the king bed was comfortable too), and everybody was warm and cozy each night. The dining table has leaves that open to make the table bigger, which was great when two friends came through town for dinner one of the nights.
The location worked great for us. Even though the condo is on the south end of town, we still went to arches and Dead Horse Point and into town for some shopping. And it was nice to be out in the country a bit with horses and pastures surrounding. We tried out the hot tub, and it was lovely and hot.
My only complaint is that the fireplace in the condo was a little fussy and did not always work right away. But, on the plus side, the condo manager was very responsive and came over right away to get the fireplace up and running for us right after we arrived. Also, it did not impact us, but there was only one extra blanket available (but lots of extra sheets and towels), and since there are two stow-away beds, it seems like at least two extra blankets would be nice.

I've stayed in the Rim village area 3 times now and it never disappoints. The condos are extremely clean and well stocked. The views of the rim and la sal mountains make for a great relaxing time on the patios. It's very close to Moab and the parks but still feels like you're off the beaten path. I would only stay here on any return trip.

The condo was wonderful. Even thought we checked-in very late, there were no problems with check-in, and everything was clear. Beautiful veiws right from the patio of the condo. The patio was a nice place to eat breakfast and enjoy the cooler morning air. We loved the condo complex being slightly outside of downtown Moab.
