We stayed in the Desert Loft for three nights while hiking in and around arches National Park. We loved this place! The interior was beyond our expectations: extremely comfortable, well-furnished, beautiful and modern. We love the location too, just behind the brew pub and grocery store so we could walk over for dinner or a quart of milk. The kitchen is a great size and fully stocked if you want to make your meals in.
I was a little worried about possible noise from the brew pub but the unit is very quiet. It was a fantastic place for our family of three. Our twelve-year-old daughter loved the downstairs bedroom and made it her "den" while we were there.
A couple of things to be aware of: the unit is difficult to find. You have to go all the way around to the back of the building past the loading dock with trucks etc. and through a narrow passage between a building and a fence to get to the parking area. You enter the unit through a gate in the fence surrounding the courtyard. There is also a narrow passageway that leads to another gate at the front of the unit which is a shortcut to the brew pub. Both gates are locked with an entry code. We found the location to be extremely convenient if a bit unconventional.
Photos of the unit show glass french doors in the dining area; these don't lead outside. They are locked and the glass is blacked out. The property management office is on the other side.
We loved the unit and the location and would definitely stay here again. This place is a find!

Came to stay over the Skinny Tire Festival. I was looking for a place that could hole multiple people if needed and this was an inexpensive place. I was very nervous of the location so close to the Brewery as I thought the night noise might be too much. I was pleasantly surprised as a light sleeper it passed the test! The beds were comfy and everything was furnished well. Great place to stay, the only thing that wasn't our favorite was 1 bathroom for 3 ladies, but we knew it going in to it.

This is the third time we (my wife and our two children) have spent Thanksgiving in Moab, the second time we've rented a property managed by Moab Lodging and Property Management. Like our last trip, this one was simply exquisite, and much of that had to do with the Desert Loft. Such a hidden gem, Moab's version of an industrial loft, tucked away behind the strip mall containing the Moab Brewery and the Village Market. Beautifully furnished, wonderfully secluded, it was a fantastic haven for us at the end each day's adventure. Lots of room, great spaces, great furnishings. Our kids love playing up in the loft and it was nice to be able to sneak out the secret passage to the brewery for dinner or the Village Market for some needed kitchen supply. The fencing around the backyard created a sense of privacy such that you had no idea you were in the middle of town.
Only suggestion I'd make is that, if you plan to use the kitchen seriously, buy an inexpensive knife or two at the market after arrival, as the kitchen knives were dull to the point of being dangerous and the sharpening implement was worthless.
With that said, the Desert Loft is a remarkable vacation home, great for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. We will definitely reserve it again when we go back. Thanks to Mlpm for another wonderful holiday vacation.

Just came back from a week in Moab and our group stayed at the Desert Loft. This place is tucked away and secluded although right in downtown Moab. The furnishings were beautiful, the kitchen was great and had everything we needed. It was so convenient and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed at the Desert Loft in October. After a long day of hiking, it was a great place to recharge. Comfy coach, lovely decor, lots of space and the kitchen was well equipped. All was new and very clean. When I was making our lodging plans, I wanted a location in town. This was perfect. Easy walk to places. The Moab Brewery was next to us. Its a fun place with great beer choices. We never heard outside noise or noise from the brew pub. The apt also had an outdoor space with a full picnic table and benches, lounge chairs, and a grill. Arches and Canyonlands were closed when we were there, so we plan to return and will book this place again.

This is an awesome little find tucked in a great location, with an almost private entrance to the Moab Brewery! All the comforts of home in a cheery well appointed space. Very surprised given the odd parking, would be great for up to 3 couples who travel well together or a family with 2 older children due to the 2 bed loft space. Great value and option over the chain hotels, well worth a chance if only for a short stay.

Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the loft. Though surrounded by cinder block walls from businesses, the outdoor area was still nice to sit in, with a narrow view of the rock wall. The only downside might be if your sleeping in the upstairs, the street lights shine directly towards the beds from windows that don't have curtains. Other then that, a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again when in Moab.

The Desert Loft is a great little place, tucked away in a perfect location.
It really does seem like a secret place because there are no other lodgings close by. (There isn't any great views or anything but that's what getting on your bike is for!)
The driveway is somewhat hidden (careful, it's a tight fit), but when you want to pop over to Moab Brewery, the grocery store, or grab a pizza, you seriously walk out your own private (secure) gate.
The place itself is very clean, fully equipped with what you'll need to cook your own meals. Plenty of bedding and towels.
While only two of us stayed, they have 3 beds (only one is in a private room, the others are open for viewing to anyone you bring along ;).
Check it out!

The Desert Loft is a spacious condo that is clean and nicely furnished with large HD TV and Wi-fi. It has all the comforts and amenities of home and is located in the heart of the SW Desert Canyon country. Near by is arches National Park, Bryce National Park and Zion National Park. Highly recommended.

My husband and I returned to Moab where we got married ten years ago to celebrate. We found the loft online and crossed our fingers that it would be good. We were so excited when we got there! It is such a fantastic place to stay, it felt like home. Even though its nestled between the brewery and a strip mall you would have no idea it was while siting on the back patio or watching TV after a day of fun. We also loved the acess to restaurants, a grocery store, and downtown. Thank you!

Spent a week here with 5 buddies for a Mt. Bike adventure. We had to mix and match for beds vs couch vs cot but it worked out. Only one bathroom meant that there was plenty of relaxing on the very pleasant and scenic back deck with beers post ride while waiting for the shower to open up. We cooked most meals there and there could have been a few more (bigger) pots for the pasta nights, but otherwise the kitchen was well appointed and clean. Bike storage and and a hose for ppost ride wash-offs is available in the spacious back yard. Nice big grill out back as well! Close porximity to the Moab brewery made for some great brewing smells while out back and Chili Pepper Bike shop is right out front and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

This property is immediately next door to the Brew Pub. But separated by a small alley and is very quite and secluded. It is very spacious and well decorated and was perfect for 2 parents, a teenager and a dog. My new favorite in Moab.

This loft is really amazing. Hotels in Moab can be extremely expensive especially compared to the relatively low rental rate of this loft. I stayed here two nights and couldn't be happier. There is off-street parking with a fenced in back porch area accessed by a key code. The loft has an amazing kitchen, great sound system, and beautiful furnishings. I was initially worried about noise from Moab Brewery which is right beside the loft. However, since the loft is on the back of the building, I couldn't hear any noise all night even though the brewery was packed. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Moab.

We rented the condo for Thanksgiving 2012 weekend. It far surpassed my expectations based on the photos posted on the website. My husband and two adult children and two dogs were taken aback by the spaciousness of the place. The secluded yard and property were a real treat but the central location in town was perfect. We will return. The kids want to organize a friends weekend there sometime in the near future too!
The only drawback was having just one bathroom.
I hate to gush too much about this place as I fear you will be overwhelmed with reservation requests and we'll be unable to rent it ever again!

We have travelled to Moab for many years and stayed at numerous hotel and vacation rentals. This unit was excellent. It was in Moab and that made it easy to walk to the restaurants and coffee shops. However, it felt secluded as well due to the location behind the Moab Brewery. It was a quiet unit and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights during 2012 EJS. I think we were the first tenants ever to have stayed here (no joke - that's what we were told and it showed). Everything was brand new. The place is really upscale compared to other Moab offerings, and the layout is killer if the upstairs occupants don't mind the loss of privacy and openness to the main part of the condo. Decorations, amenities, furniture, bedding - everything was top notch. There are three reasons I did not give this a 5, all of which have to do with the outside of the building/property and nothing to do with the inside. First, while the location is phenomenal, its physical orientation in relation to neighboring buildings leaves something to be desired. If you spend any time outside on the back porch or in the back "yard", you will know what I mean. The back yard is sandwiched between two commercial buildings, both of which extend far out beyond the back yard. Result? Cinder-block walls on either side, narrowing the view of the Moab Rim to the west (the side to which the back yard faces). The building is also between nearby restaurants - get ready to smell their delicious food if you spend time in the back yard/porch. Second, the property management's supply/work shed is located behind the property. Caretakers use that property daily to wash linen and/or resupply cleaning supplies. We did not mind the activities/workers and they were quiet and kept to themselves, but the shed is situated in such a way that driving around it to access the property, while doable, requires attention. Finally, the back yard is gated (which is really nice), but we wanted to pull our rigs into the back yard (which is rocked) for security, loading/unloading and to work on them. Short review - the inside is killer, the outside, not so much. Moab offers many more properties with much better views if you can live without the rock star condo inside. If the interior is all you care about, you will love this place.
Great place, terrific location for down town activies!

Very new, clean and extremely nice. This loft unit is right down town where I wanted to be in Moab. We were only there for 3 nights, but I could have easily stayed a month. It was a bit pricy for the 3 nights, but hubby gave in.
