Description
This exclusive private game farm is surrounded by the magnificent Waterberg Mountains. A place of tranquility and relaxation, abundant game, bird watching, scenic mountain trails and 4X4 route. Regular sightings of fish eagle, black eagle, secretary bird and most of the kingfisher species are known to happen. A variety of wild fruit and other trees can be identified.
The Waterberg has a natural beauty which, for those who know the area well, is unmatched elsewhere-from its soaring craggy heights in the southern escarpment where the 'Seven Sisters' guard the plains, to the northeastern buttresses of spectacular rock formations, rising sheer out of the bushveld lowlands. It also gives one a sense of limitless space: the central plateau provides an extraordinary feeling of emptiness, despite the fact that early man has lived here for thousands of years, as evidenced by the abundance of rock art and ancient archaeological sites.
Straddling an area of 15 000 sq km in Limpopo, the Waterberg region has gone almost unnoticed for decades. With its brooding mountain ranges it conjures up images of gun runners, tax evaders, remittance men and hunters; but the real people who have settled here are serious-minded pioneer folk and their families, who have put down deep roots within these hills and valleys.
Its extraordinary biodiversity, geological features and cultural aspects make this area a special place to visit and live in.

You will nestle in the privacy of a beautiful romantic cottage against the mountain side with spectacular views over the Waterberg. This exclusive self-catering unit known as Vindmekaar (an afrikaans word meening to find one another) can be yours for as long as your hart desire. Vindmekaar offers two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, open plan kitchen. All appliances are gas -operated. (stove, fridge, solar geaser). Vindmekaar also offers for your comfort and exclusive use an outdoor bath and braai facility.No electricity, only accessible by 4x4 vehicle.

“Very relaxed”
It was very nice quiet and relaxed. With just the sound of the bush. Not so far from a big city. It was also nice to see all the birds and animals.
