Villa Sibilla

Villa Sibilla is a magnificent, opulent home which is quite unique in its high quality. The villa's position is simply spectacular. Panoramic views across the Tenna Valley encompass the dramatic Sibillini mountain range and the medieval hilltop town of Monte San Martino.

The villa has been carefully designed with cool, spacious cream interiors and the natural materials of travertine and solid dark hardwood. There are antiques, original art and sculptures and many individual artifacts that the owner collected from her travels around the world.

The beautiful, open-plan penthouse across the entire top floor has a wet room and sunken Roman style bath. ...Read more

Additional Location Information

Villa Sibilla’s position is simply spectacular with panoramic views across the Tenna Valley encompassing the dramatic Sibillini mountain range and the medieval hilltop town of Monte San Martino. This region, Le Marche, borders Tuscany and Umbria and is often described as “Italy’s best kept secret”.
Villa Sibilla is perched high above the tranquil lake of San Ruffino on the edge of a National Park. This part of Italy is the home of myths and legends. The hills lend themselves to some fantastic walking and hiking. The flora and fauna are wonderful, with deer often wandering past the villa.
The villa is in an ideal location for exploring some of the many medieval hilltop towns or enjoying the Renaissance art and architecture. There is always a local food and wine festival to be found throughout the summer months.
The picturesque town of Amandola is a five-minute drive away (5 km). It has a full range of facilities: supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, petrol stations, doctors, and even a small hospital. The historic town of Ascoli Piceno is thirty minutes away, and there is a twice daily coach service to Rome from Amandola.
Just below the house on the San Ruffino lake is an organization called "Dimensione Naturale" that offers horse riding lessons, trekking, canoeing and a range of health and beauty treatments.
The beach resorts of the Adriatic coast are less than an hour away, and a golf course is about forty-five minutes from the villa.
Ancona airport is 100 km away, and Pescara is 145 km away. Both are served by Ryan air.
