Anne and the gang went out of the way to accommodate us for our anniversary. The condo had all the amenities needed and more. We were a little intimidated with the white carpet. This home has a very romantic night view with all the twinkling lights of the surroundings. And what can I say about the location but - location - location - location. The only thing negative was the outside deck was not completed for our stay. But anne and the gang made up for it by offering another house or a free stay. We opted for the free stay and hope that we may return to this area again someday.

This is a little jewel, jutting over the dunes with expansive views of the Pacific, from your own corner deck. A charming home, delightfully decorated, with every need anticipated. Perfect location for all the treasures of the Monterey Peninusla, minutes away.
"Really relaxing and a quiet, beautiful place to stay."

I saw the photo of this condo on the beach and loved it at first sight. My husband and our 4 year old stayed in the condo and it was really wonderful. The place is bright, cheery and sunny with views of the ocean. The location is also outside of the busy part of town. The place is very homey and very very clean which I really appreciated. The Property Manager was exceptionally nice and helpful to us and my dealings with Sancturary Vaction Rentals was easy and simple. I recommend this condo and will rent again with this company. Thank you!
"This home away from home was welcoming and comfortable."

I happen to be a fan of slipcovers and white so the minute I walked
in I felt at home. I also love to cook. Even though I did not do
a lot of that because of our short stay the kitchen was perfectly
stocked. My husband and I loved the view and the fireplace.
Thank you for the wine and cheese upon arrival and the book of
instructions and pamphlets galore for suggesting places to visit
and eat. Our favorite place to dine was at The Fish House so close
and so good.

Our weeklong stay in Monterey was perfect in part because we stayed where our every need was anticipated. An easy walk North of the center of town up Del Monte we got plenty of exercise (even biking along the bay was a breeze!) and enjoyed the solitude when night fell. A working fire place, cooks kitchen and comfortable queen bed made this condo a dream base for exploring the area. A great touch was the wide selection of reading material on the bedroom bookshelves.

My husband and I were looking to get away to a beautiful place to celebrate a special birthday but needed all the amenities of home in order to tend to our 18 month old travelling with us. This was perfect! It was so charming, cozy and the view was gorgeous. We were immediately impressed with the lovely decor that felt light and airy and attention to detail to make it feel comfortable and relaxing. It was great to have the extra space while our toddler took afternoon naps and not have to worry about tip toeing around the room if we had stayed in a hotel. We are fairly active and wanted a location that could easily access the bike trail. This was it! We could easily take walks along the beach to the wharf and Cannery Row (1 hour walk) and rode our bikes all the way to asilomar Beach. The location was close enough to CR that we could easily get to the aquarium every day between naps with our toddler. This way we could see all the exhibits over a few days. We definitely loved our stay and our toddler loved every adventure. Monterey is breathtaking and having a pretty home base to come back to every day made it even more special.

From the moment we entered, it was a special experience. Greeted with wine snacks, we went directly to the balcony and enjoyed the roar of the surf. The condo is well supplied with Dvds, CDs and books. The decorating is not merely tastefull, but inspriational.
Thank you for your lovely reviews! We hope you can come again soon!
All the best,

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Sanctuary! Waking to the sound of the surf and sight of dolphins in the waves made our morning coffee a treat! Convienent, but just enough out of the way to let us experience Monterey at our own pace.
"A cozy surprise around every corner, as soon as you walk in!"

The condo, the aquarium passes, the spa, the beach, the view, the reminiscing. We were able to bring back many memories and create new ones because of the feelings felt immediately walking through the front door. Thank you for taking care of every little detail.

This was our second stay in this beautifully-decorated condo. We spent hours staring at the waves from our living room windows and enjoyed long walks on the beach. It was a great base for exploring nearby sights...Carmel, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, and our favorite town Pacific Grove knowing that when we returned "home" each day we had everything we needed. Read more
