Additional Location Information

NDG is a very family-friendly neighborhood. There are lots of parks and a multitude of activities. We have Shakespeare in the Park every summer. There's also a children's entertainer at a cafe on Monkland once a week in the summer. Local pools are have free access to residents. There's great shopping in both Victoria and Monkland Village. Montreal is the city of Festivals, there's something for every one from the White Lights Festival, Jazz Fest, Just for Laughs Fest, Fireworks Competition, O"Sheaga Festival,.... you don't have time to be bored. This is also a great city for foodies -- you gotta participate in the great debate as to who has the best bagels : Fairmount bagels or St-Viateur bagels. You have to try our wourld-famous Smoked Meat. Lots of ethnic cuisine to sample too -- from Italian to Greek to Indian to Russian to Oriental to whatever you fancy --- you'll find it. You have to visit Old Montreal and step back in time to when Montreal was a colony. There's the Bonsecours Market that's not to be missed, lots of museums both for adults and children alike -- just ask me and I'll point you in the right direction !
