This cottage provides a relaxing retreat on the Inishowen Peninsula and the location is a perfect sanctuary from the hustle bustle of city life.

Located 2km from the restaurants and pubs in Moville Town and the popular traditional music pub Mc Grory's in nearby Culdaff.

Moville lies on the Western shore of Lough Foyle and is the Ideal location to explore the exquisite Inishowen Peninsula. The town has many pubs and restaurants and a beautiful scenic shore walk to Greencastle fishing village. There is a play park on the shore for the kids and a kayaking/watersports centre for the whole family.

Nearby attractions include, the beautiful sandy beaches of Kinnagoe Bay (5km), Culdaff, (13km) Shrove (8km) and local horse riding centres and watersports in and around Moville. Malin Head, the most Northerly point in Ireland is only 34km away. Other main places of interest include the Doagh Famine Village, Mamore Gap, Glenevin Waterfall, and Dunree Fort.

There is easy access to the picturesque coast of the North West Coast of Northern Ireland using the short ferry crossing from Greencastle to Magilligan Point. Visit the stunning Glens of Antrim and the geological wonder of the Giants Causeway. Enjoy the golfing opportunities in the world famous 'Royal Portrush Golf Course' set on the stunning Atlantic coast. Portrush is also home to Barry's Amusements, located on the sea front, with many rides, both indoors and out, for kids and adults alike.

There are several golf courses nearby. Redcastle golf club has a 9 hole parkland golf course in a stunning setting on the banks of Lough Foyle. Redcastle is also home to one of Ireland's leading Indoor Fun Parks. Ballyliffin golf course has a 36 hole course and an ultra modern clubhouse overlooking both courses with spectacular sunsets over Pollan Bay.

Derry City Airport is 30km away with car hire widely available. The historic walled city of Derry (City of Culture 2013) is a 30 min drive away, home to a number of museums, galleries and theatres, as well as a thriving musical and literary scene.

The cottage has been recently refurbished providing comfortable surroundings and is set in an acre of private land with an idyllic stream in the garden and views of Lough Foyle and surrounding countryside. It is in a peaceful and private location. Enjoy the views from the dining area and the large front porch.

Living area has a wood burner for cosy evenings in. A fire starter pack will be provided. There is also oil fire heating. Linen is provided.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences.
