Thank you to all our guests. We are fully booked for summer, but will begin taking fall reservations in August.
Rare miles-long views along the Myrtle Beach shoreline, north and south. Stunning sunset views back across the city. All in a gracious top floor unit designed for relaxing. Plus, you get serviced living; the best of both worlds, all the comforts of home and extra perks of a vacation rental, with all the amenities, security and support of a hotel. There's even an onsite oceanfront bar & grill for a quick snack or easy meal. If you book through us, we work with Forest Dunes Resort's front desk to ensure you get the best rate possible with a non-movable reservation in the specific apartment we own. You can pick your key up at the front desk, and you don't have to play "room roulette" hoping you'll get a condo you like. Individually owned and decorated condo's are great because they usually have many extras and a "put your feet up" feel you won't find in a hotel. But you really need to look before you book, and then guarantee you will be placed in the exact unit you want. IMPORTANT NOTES: Please tell us how many ADULTS and CHILDREN, with ages. Check the RATES PAGE before contacting us -- our rates are highly seasonal and while rates are accurate on the rates page, FlipKey does not permit us to show the wide range of rates between winter and summer. Average rates are about $100 in the winter, but about $300 in the middle of the summer. THIS IS A SMOKE-FREE PROPERTY, and smoking fines are enforced. AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WILD TIME, this is NOT the place for you -- we've only had to do it once, but anyone who abuses the property will be asked to leave. We enjoy our condo ourselves, and are sure you will, too. We've added all the little things that make this a home away from home, right down to books, games, and a fully stocked kitchen. Our unit is the only one in Forest Dunes Resort with an electric fireplace, which can be operated with or without heat for ambiance. There's nothing quite like pouring a glass of wine at the wet bar, sprawling on the sofa, turning on the TV and "lighting a fire" to end the day well...unless of, course, you opt to watch the sun go down on the balcony. Since our family visits as often as we can, we make sure there are always good supplies of cooking and serving equipment, as well as DVD's, games, books, and puzzles. In other words, you can be confident that you will have everything you need because if it's something you want, we probably do, too! But if there is ever anything you find missing or would have liked to have had, just send us an email or leave a note in our guestbook--we'll try to have it for you next time you come. We think of Forest Dunes Resort as a small gem. There are many resorts that are bigger, noisier, and more frenetic, but we like Forest Dunes just the way it is -- a place to relax and enjoy friends, family, and nature. It's a great place to plan reunions, birthday parties, and other special events because it's small enough to host intimate gatherings, but large enough to have enough accommodations for all. And since we know which units are the nicest, we'd always be happy to help make arrangements. You do need to remember that the entire resort is SMOKE FREE, including private balconies and common pool areas. And there are a few other restrictions -- no pets, no motorcycles, and unrelated groups must all be over 21 years old. When we are ready to wade into the fray and look for fun, we know just where to go. Myrtle Beach has marvelous shows (watch out Broadway), restaurants, and activities for young and old. Try riding a Segway or taking a helicopter ride for the first time. Go horseback riding on the beach in the off season. Ever been deep sea fishing? You can even see how your luck is running on a gaming ship dinner cruise. You'll find many suggestions in our guest book for things to see and do. But the beach is really what it's all about. The weather is often mild in the winter, sometimes bouncing into the 70's on a given day. You'll see folks walking along the shore, sitting in the sand reading or just watching, and a few will even brave the cold water a bit. During the summer, this stretch of beach is less crowded than others. There's plenty of room for beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. However, please be aware there may be a minimum stay requirement during the high summer season. But spring and fall are wonderful times as well-- the water warms quickly and cools slowly. Summer crowds are gone and the roads, stores, restaurants, shows, and other venues are yours to explore. This fall, Myrtle Beach has pulled out all the stops -- there are wonderful events and activities that will take you right into the winter.TripAdvisor property ID 3666840...Read more

Additional Location Information
The resort is located in the exclusive north end residential Cabana Section of Myrtle Beach's "Golden Mile." This approximately 3 block long area is home to the colorful, quirky, quaint and unique cabanas that give it it's name. The north end of Myrtle Beach is close to everything but less-congested than other areas. Downtown is only about a mile away, an easy tram ride from the resort's front door, or even a long walk on the beach on a nice evening.

We were very satisfied with our selection for a family vacation. The people at this facility were very accomodating and caring. The ocean view, the spacious and lovely condoninium on the 18th floor was ideal for our family. The complex is well maintained, safe and secure. The town has many attractions and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here on our next visit.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful review. We love knowing you had a good time and look forward to having you stay with us again when you come back to Myrtle Beach. We don't often get to meet our guests, but feel many times like we've nevertheless gotten to know you!
“Relaxed family fun in welcoming environment.”

Myrtle Beach's amenities run the gamut, and this place seems ideally located to take it all in while staying in an upscale area. The condo itself was great. The rooms were exactly as advertised -- bright and nicely outfitted. Flat-screen televisions were a nice touch. And the electric fireplace in the living room was great. Added bonus: As a runner, I thought the location was fantastic. Heading north along the waterfront and then cutting through some of the residential neighborhoods made for a really pleasant route. The food at the restaurant downstairs was great, and the staff was exceedingly attentive.
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you appreciated many of the same things we do when we visit, including being located in the Cabana Section, close to downtown but not in the middle of the crowds. Come back anytime!

We had the best time staying here! The condo had all of the conveniences of home with the luxury of beautiful rooms and amazing views! There is a very nice beach right across the street. The pool and lazy river at the resort are also very nice. The restaurant serves great breakfast and is a fun place to have a drink. We will definitely be back...hopefully many many more times.
We can only give you general rate guidelines because the resort adjusts rates frequently. We have some flexibility, however, and if you contact us with specifics we will work to assure you get the best deal possible. You can check resort rates online for three bedroom units, and sometimes we can work out something especially for you. Taxes are much less on monthly rentals. And, if you are traveling with children, the rates may be a bit less than for a party of all adults. Please be aware that there generally is a 4 night stay required during the height of the season and on some holidays. Once again, however, we'll try hard to give you the vacation you are hoping for.
Additional fees may apply:
- Short Term Resort Fee | 12 USD per day | Supports resort amenities
- Snowbird Resort Fee | 16 USD per month | All resort fees also carry tax
