Ace's Delight was truly a home away from home equipped with all the necessities to make our beach vacation relaxing and enjoyable. Well maintained furnishings, kitchen, and outside amenities made for a hassle free stay. The entire family had a great first stay at this home and would definitely stay here again. Walk to the beach was not very far and local attractions were well within walking distance. The weather was very warm and fortunately we only had one 1/2 day of rain.

This was our fourth trip to the Outer Banks, and we always find new things to do. We rented a jeep from Chrysler jeep for the day, and drove to the beaches of Corollo. We were rewarded by seeing over 20 wild horses. There were 7 of us in our group, so half of us enjoyed shopping at Tim Buck 2 while the other half explored the Corollo beaches. My husband and I rented a Harley, and drove out to Hatteras. Aces Delight is pet friendly, and having the dogs with us is always a highlight. We took the dogs to Yappy Hour in Duck, where they were served frozen martinis, and special puppy treats. They also made paw paintings for us. Ace's Delight has everthing you could ever need. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, and playing their wide variety of pool games. The kids spent every evening in the hot tub. We played every board game in their closet, and they have an incredible supply of movies and Dvds. The kitchen is stocked, and you can enjoy beautiful ocean views from the deck. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. It is truly a home away from home.

This is a well stocked , nicely located and fairly priced cottage that suited our needs perfectly. We watched the fabulous July 4 Outer Banks Pier fireworks for our deck which was a real treat. Although the week was very, very hot, we took respite at the pool when the beach was too brutal. We will probably go back. One or two issues: the decks needs to be repaired. Some of the boards have popped up with exposed nails. When we called to ask how to turn on the pool light, no one called us back.

Our stay at ace delight was very nice. Except the bugs in the house and the phone call wanting to know about the play stations missing. Mother than that the house is beautiful and the kitchen was Equiped for large groups. We loved it

This was our first vacation with our married sons and their families. The house was very clean. The kitchen had every appliance, pan, and dish you would ever need. We loved the pool and hot tub. We had prime seats for the Fourth of July fireworks which really thrilled our three year-old grandson. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and didn't need to utilize the extras in the closets. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and we will be back! I would recommend this house to anyone and everyone.

I called you guys and asked for a place close to Lucky Twelve Resturant. You came thru with flying colors. The house was perfect. The house was immaculate, well maintained, had a good layout for our group. Since we were not a family group we could come and go independantly without bothering each other but could still get together as well. The weather that week could not have been better. We hope to stay in the same house next year. Thanks again.

Aces Delight was absolutley the perfect house in the perfect location with all the amenities at an affordable price. awesome...almost. on thursday i had called about a problem with the pool and hot tub. on sunday the pool guy arrived. he was not informed of our staying an extra night and did his job starting with "throwing away our swim trunks and towels"...threw it away! after talking with a few different associates they assured me nothing could be done. they would not reimburse us for our lose nor would the property owner. im not pointing fingers just saying it was almost awesome. could have been perfect though! communication goes a long way!

The location was great. I paid for early check-in, but the house was not ready. We had to wait for it to be cleaned. Don't know if the cleaning was rushed, but it needed more effort. I paid for sheets, but they did not fit the beds. The master bedrooms were great, but the full bed and twin bed matresses were very uncomfortable. It was great having a pool, but it needs some maintenance. The lining is coming off and the water was cloudy by the end of the week.
The house is furnished well (including houseware). The exttra kitchen area downstairs is great. Alot of pool furniture.
Received a phone call mid week from realtor to ask how it was going. Call was appreciated!
Most unfortunate event was the jelly fish on the beach. Terrible!! Never went in the water.
"Great house, Great location, A few things to fix..."

The house is beautiful -- great for family group. Location can't be beat either. Only problem was some things listed on web site were in poor condition -- bikes were unusable, as one was missing a seat and both were very rusty. We had to rent our own, Also a boogie board was listed but broken. In the future we'll bring our own items regardless of what the website lists. I also wish the house came with a Ymca membership, as the house we had the year before did. It's a great perk and an excellent value.

We had a blast!! This is our 3rd year staying at ace's Delight. Its conveniently located close to the beach, fishing pier, shopping and restaurants. There's something for everyone in our group. Can't wait to visit again next year.
