Additional Location Information

One of the few Nashville neighborhoods where you can walk to restaurants, shops & spas. There's a wonderful coffee house where you can get breakfast and check email or have a meeting with a music biz professional. A city bus stop is on the corner and we are within walking distance of many businesses and music venues. If you're travelling to Nashville for business or pleasure, you'll find this friendly neighborhood a great place to stay to make you feel part of the community. Historic Edgehill is one of the most favored locations for families moving to Nashville, both because of the close neighborhood feel and the proximity to Vanderbilt, Belmont and the downtown area. We are close to SESAC, ASCAP and BMI, most of the publishing houses, as well as major record labels such as SONY, WARNER, BIG MACHINE, etc. The Gulch is a popular night time destination as is Lower Broad (music all day and all night).
The Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena are favored destinations for musical events as well as the Grand Old Opry. 3rd and Linsley is a good place to experience great music, the Time Jumpers have a regular gig on Monday nights, but get tickets in advance and get there early for a seat as this sells out every time.
Shopping......Green Hills and Cool Springs are favorite locations. Centennail Park, fashioned after the Parthenon in Greece, is a must see and there are many civil war historical sites that are well preserved and very interesting. The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson is also as great place to visit if you like history.
We have many good golf courses that are open to the public and we a lovely lake trail for hiking nearby (Radnor Lake). If boating is more your thing, there is Percy Priest Lake or Old Hickory Lake (both dams).
