"Great apartment! Close to main Broadway/ downtown strip"
Left on 06/11/2015 for a stay in June 2015
A good size, modern apartment and very clean.
Two beds, two baths (one ensuite).
Easily can accommodate 4 people.
The apartment was a short uber ride away from the main Broadway strip (where all the bars are).
The area itself also had a lot of nice and trendy restaurants.
I would be more than happy to use Stay Alfred again for future trips.
Thank you for making our stay (check in/ out) very simple and straight forward.
"Oasis two-blocks from Broadway"
Left on 08/12/2015 for a stay in July 2015
Location + comfort...This condo is perfect for getting close to all the downtown night-life Nashville has to offer. Two short blocks to Broadway and even closer to the off-Broadway spots. The best part though is how quickly you can retreat to your beautiful secluded condo. Tastefully decorated condo in a very quiet building is best way to describe this facility. Don't bring the party back to the condo though. Strict rules about noise after hours which was perfect for us.
"Hockey and Honky Tonk get away Banner Lofts Nashville"
Left on 03/10/2016 for a stay in February 2016
We rented 162, 3rd ave N Banner Lofts unit 101 for 10 days. The unit was more than we expected for comfort, decor, safety, and convenience. The wifi worked well with my iphone but not as dependable with the lap top. Yes the only window looks into an alley and the back of a building so more reason to get out and walk! We were within walking distance to everything, Bridgestone arena, Broadway and all the music bars and eaterys, Wild Horse Salon and dancing, the Symphony and a fabulous presentation of The Eagles, The Johnny Cash museum, the Rhyman auditorium, the Music city convention centre, the Country Music hall of fame and one of the most convenient bus systems we have encountered. A cheap half hour ride took us to The Grand Ole Opry and another night of toe tapping music. The grocery and wine store were only a 3 min walk away and with such a great kitchen we chose to eat in all but 3 evenings. We had such a fantastic time in Nashville and were so pleased we chose Banner Lofts so we could do and see all of the things I mentioned. Some bits of advice to the owners however are, provide a dryer with the washer (it was advertised but missing when we arrived) , 3 dishwasher packets, 2 skimpy bars of bathroom soap and a couple tablespoons of dish soap are not enough for clients staying 10 days.
"Perfect in every way"
Left on 07/04/2015 for a stay in June 2015
This was our first time to choose a condo vs. a hotel for overnight accommodations and it certainly will not be our last. While trying to find a good price on a nice hotel room (for 2 couples) I saw that I could rent a very nice condo for about the same price as 2 hotel rooms; and for perhaps even a little less. The condo was extremely nice, very clean and comfortable. Even though we didn't do any cooking the kitchen had everything we would need to do so. There's also a very nice washer and dryer. The beds and bedding were very comfortable & everyone slept great. We really liked the bedrooms being separated by the living room, allowing for additional privacy. The A/C ran great and was more than welcoming on a very very hot/humid day. The room was very quiet. Outside noise wasn't an issue. We also really liked the security of the gated private parking behind the building. There was a little wicker basket with 2 waters, 2 popcorn bags, some cheese crackers, fruit gummies and coffee.
This is also very close to downtown. I would highly recommend Puckett's Restaurant on Church Street for breakfast. It was very reasonable and "awesomely" delicious.
This was much better, when traveling with friends, than staying in 2 different hotel rooms where all you get is a bed and bathroom.
The cleaning fee is a little high considering it would have probably taken them 15 minutes to clean our room. This might be something for mgmt to reconsider for folks simply staying over night & not cooking. I would highly recommend this establishment.

From the time I placed my first call to book to the end of my stay, everything was perfect! The Customer Service from Stay Alfred was exceptional as they checked in with me every so often to make sure I had everything I needed and all the appropriate info. The check-in instructions were extremely clear and the actual condo was phenomenal! There were four of us (two couples) who stayed and the place was perfect with each of us having our own room and bathroom. Kitchen was ideal and the fact that the grocery store was the next block over just made it that more "at-home" feel. We were within a 5 minute walk of Broadway and were the envy of others who stayed at hotels. I would absolutely recommend staying here - this certainly exceeded my expectations.
Nashville, Tennessee, is a wonderful place to tap your feet to some awesome live music. The undisputed center of the country music world, Nashville is a top vacation destination for music lovers. This city is home to legendary venues like the Ryman Auditorium, once the home of the Grand Ole Opry, the Bluebird Cafe, and Exit/In, which showcase some of the best names in country. If you are a big country fan and looking to attend the CMA Music Festival, be sure to schedule a trip to Nashville in June.
In addition to the music scene, Nashville, situated on the banks of the Cumberland River, is a remarkably pleasant place to spend some time. If you are interested in walking around Nashville's historic downtown district you will find many well-preserved buildings from the city's Victorian era. If you'd rather explore unique boutiques, restaurants, and bars, head to 2nd Avenue. While you are there, be sure to try some delicious and authentic Southern cooking, especially the fried chicken.
Here are a few additional suggestions of things to do in Nashville:
-Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum: This museum showcases artifacts and memorabilia from country music's greatest names.
-Grand Ole Opry House: You can sit in the audience during a live taping of the famous Nashville radio program, The Grand Ole Opry.
-State Capital: The capital of Tennessee is housed in a big neo-classical building downtown, open to the public.
-Tennessee State Museum: This educational museum provides an interesting glimpse into the history of Tennessee, including Native American and early colonial artifacts.
-Hermitage: The home of former president Andrew Jackson, the restored Hermitage plantation shows life as it was in early 19th century Tennessee.
-Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art: Stroll past oaks, pines, herbs, wildflowers, Japanese bamboo, water plants, and sculptures at this beautiful botanical gardens.
If you are going to be visiting Nashville during the summer, a vacation rental can be a great way to beat the crowds and the season's elevated costs. Either an apartment rental downtown or a cabin rental outside the city center will give you easy access to the live music scene and Nashville's exciting nightlife. Alternately, a condo in one of Nashville's residential neighborhoods will put you at the center of all the action.
