"A comfy place in heaven!"

My family and I stayed here over 4th of July weekend and it was great! You can see the sound from the patio. We went to the beach one day, which is a short drive or walk across the street, and the kids just want feeling it that day. The next day we went to the sound that's located behind the condos and we all loved it! The 3 and 4 year old were able to play in the clear water without worrying about waves. My 10 year old swam with his googled and a net and caught a couple of fish and some hermit crabs in some cool shells! They had a ball! The condo was very clean, had all we needed besides food, and just had a very comfortable, homey feel to it. Awesome time at a relaxing place!

We really loved the place a lot. Had so much fun there. Everything was as expected with the condo. We will be going back soon that is for sure.

"The good the bad and the ugly"

As with all of my Tripadvisor reviews, I go with the good then the bad and then the ugly.
There are many good aspects of this property and specifically this unit. The good parts of it is that it is not a high rise and there is no going up/down with pool/beach stuff all day long. We literally stepped out of our back door and there was the pool. The beach is a very short walk- less than 5 minutes- to be there and sitting on the Gulf. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The good part of it is the master has its own bathroom. We had our own bathroom and the kids had their own. There were ample towels and kitchen equipment for a week long stay. The kids bedroom had a bunch of pool/beach toys/equipment. My daughter took about 1,000 trips on the boogie board. The dinning room table was big enough to sit all 6 of us and the living room was a nice size.
The bad part of this property was that our TV was broken when we checked in. I called the managers on Saturday but it took until Tuesday to get it fixed. They did, however, replace it with a very nice large screen TV so any future guests should have a rather nice living room TV for evening viewing. Another slightly bad aspect of this property is you will need to get groceries prior to arriving. Getting to/fro over the causeway isn't always fun. It can take some time due to traffic and slow speeds allowed over the bridge. I would suggest doing a 1-time major shop and don't plan to go back over...
The community of Navarre, refers to itself as "Florida's Best Kept Secret". With great beaches, a wide range of family-friendly activities, and events to take part in year-round, it's no surprise why this secluded town is becoming an increasingly popular vacation destination in Florida. While you are here, be sure to check out Canal Boulevard, where you can find great shopping and fine restaurants as well as beautiful views of the coast.
Here are a few additional suggestions of things to do in Navarre:
- Panhandle Butterfly House: Over 200 species of butterflies can be viewed at this beautiful indoor garden.
- Navarre Pier: Walk along the pier for unbelievable views of the coast and buy a souvenir from one of the local shops.
- Southern Raceway: This dirt track hosts stock car racing events every Saturday throughout the year.
- Gulf Breeze Zoo: This 50 acre zoo features hundreds of animals from all over the world.
- West Florida Railroad Museum: Built in a formerly operating depot, this museum now displays a perfectly restored dining car and large model train display.
- Go to the Beach: Sample one of the many amazing beaches in the area.
There are also plenty of huge events and festivals just a few miles away from Navarre in several of the nearby towns and cities. Some of these include the Pensacola Jazzfest in April, a free festival with local, regional, and national performers; Musical Echoes in April, a Native American cultural festival which focuses on traditional and authentic music, art, and dance; and the Pensacola Seafood Festival in September, which celebrates the best local seafood and also hosts one of the largest arts and crafts events in the area.
