Castelet is situated high on the mountain with it's cool breezes,secluded amongst other beautiful homes. Located in the Caribbean,on the Island of Nevis,a sister Island to St.Kitts, English is the language. The Vance Amory Airport is 5 minutes away. The nearest beach is Chrishi Beach,also 5 minutes away, a great beach with lounge chairs provided by the resort owners who also offer a delicious lunch and dinner menu. The car ferry nearby provides access to excursions and casino on the sister Island St.Kitts. The Four Seasons golf course and tennis are 10 to fifteen minutes away. Funky Monkey Tours provide a fun and scenic way to discover the Island on rangers. They also rent jet skis. Oualie Beach Resort offers fishing and diving excursions, ocean sunset tours, bicycle and wind surfing rentals. At certain times, evening entertainment is provided by local talent. The Island is small enough everything is convenient.

Horseback riding is a leisurely way to explore the historic sugar mill ruins and the beach. Walking tours are available to explore the Nevis Mountain, or take a tour on your own. Hike to the top, a vigorous climb, or walk to the water source starting at Golden Rock. Explore the many ruins on the Island, and visit the Botanical Gardens. Local signs are posted indicating places for group walks and exercise classes, such as Yoga and Zumba.

Besides having delicious dinners at the Four Seasons Resort, try the many beautiful Plantations, each with their own charm.

Nisbett Plantation has a Casablanca style, great staff, and Thursday evening beach party with entertainment.

Montpellier Plantation is architecturally designed in stone and beautifully decorated. Guess the age of the Ficus tree adorning the entrance, eat on the porch or dine in the refurbished sugar mill.

Golden Rock Plantation is surrounded by lush landscaping. There is color everywhere and you might even spot an occasional monkey. Enjoy their famous lobster sandwich for lunch or dinner in their beautiful stone addition that is surrounded by fountains and waterfalls. Sit in the Gazebo and enjoy the view.

The Hermitage Plantation is very quaint. You will feel at home when you walk inside. Beautifully decorated private cottages surround the main building, and dinning is on the porch. Meet the owners, a wonderful family who will explain the history of the plantation.

The Yachtsman Grill, located on the beach in the Hamilton Estates is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner. The owners are a delightful couple, they offer casual dinning on the beach, you can go for a swim, or sun bathe on the lounge chairs. A fully equipped bar is at your service. The evening lighting creates a romantic ambiance in the covered dinning area. Enjoy the steak and lobster, a delicious combination.

Banana's located near town high in the mountain surrounded by beautiful Island folliage. Decorated by the talented proprietor, it is a treat! A bohemian paradise, besides sparking your taste buds with delicious meals she entertains the eye.

Coconut Grove, designed and beautifully decorated by a couple with a vision. An open air thatched roof restaurant,enjoy a glass of wine from their extensive wine collection while taking in the beautiful beach view.

Mt. Nevis Hotel takes you back in time with a 50's motif. Sit on the Veranda have breakfast,lunch or, dinner and feast on the magnificent view of St. Kitts.

Galipot is the hot stop for all to enjoy. Casual dinning, meet friends, and taste the fresh fish of the day.Open Thursday through Sunday Brunch.Many beach bars surround the Island.
