Little Sugar River Farm

The Little Sugar River Farm offers you peace and seclusion on 20 acres along the Little Sugar River in southern Wisconsin. The Little Sugar River Farm is ideal for couples who want to get away from the city and relax on a small farm surrounded by wildlife areas. Because we're close to two bike trails that run through wetlands and forests, biking, hiking, and birding are some of our guests' favorite activities. Winter stays offer the possibility of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or simply relaxing by the wood stove with a good book.

Additional Location Information

The Little Sugar River Farm is on Schneeberger Rd, between Albany and Monticello Wisconsin, 25 miles drive from Madison, 15 minutes from New Glarus, and 2 hours from Chicago. The Little Sugar River Farm is ideal for cyclists and hikers. Because we are surrounded on three sides by the Albany Wildlife Area, the farm is also great for birders and anyone who wants a chance to relax. The property is secluded, surrounded by 2000 acres of wildlife refuge, and ideal for people who want to bike, hike, run, bird, read, and relax.

The guesthouse is less than a quarter of a mile from the 23-mile Sugar River Trail, and five miles from the Badger State Trail. Both trails wind along rivers, through rolling hills, forests, and wildlife areas.
