It is a short 15 - 20 minute drive to Route 30 which features many outlet shopping malls, restaurants, Dutch Wonderland amusement park, and craft stores. You are also right near the Millenium theatre which features awesome Christian productions. The American Music theatre features excellent musical entertainment. There are many dinner theatres nearby and also Amish home cooking such as Stolzfus restaurant, Good n' Plenty, and the Amish experience. It is located a mile away from the famous Shady Maple Smorgasbord. You can experience a ride in an Amish horse-drawn buggy. The Tabernacle, a replica from the Old Testament of the Bible, is found there also. The newest attraction, the Turkey Hill Experience, is also close to the house. A short distance away, within an hour's drive, allows you to visit the Reading outlet malls, Hershey Park and Philadelphia. It is only 2 hours away from Washington, D.C., our nations's capitol.
