1 blk. to French Quarter. Stay in renovated history.
This larger studio apartment is one of four units in this unique historical property, the subject of a renovation that earned it an award from the City of New Orleans for excellence in historical renovation. It includes your own front deck; hardwood floors; stained-glass windows; queen-sized bed; additional full-sized futon sofa bed; additional loft bed for the young-at-heart; fully-equipped kitchen, including full-sized fridge, gas stove, microwave oven, toaster and coffee-maker; good security with locked entry-gate; and ample on-street parking. This rental is suitable for 2-4 people, and offers more room than the smaller, rear unit. Save money by preparing breakfast ensuite, and then enjoy the fabulous cuisine of the French Quarter and surrounding area (Bywater and the Marigny...just steps away) for lunch and/or dinner. Bicycle rental can be arranged, and is one of the best ways to get around and see New Orleans, and perfect for such events as JazzFest. A safe large enough for your laptop has been added for a feeling of total security. Early check-ins and late check-outs can usually be accomodated.
While we prefer to have an open door policy as to pets, we have had some issues. If you would like to bring a pet, PLEASE diccuss this with Eshyah FIRST! If no arrangements are made, you may be refused service if you arrive with an unexpected pet. We ask that younger animals be crated. It is expected that dogs not be disturbing to other guests, (ie barking, howling when you leave the room) or you may be asked to leave. We want to keep this option open for our responsible pet owners so please do not bring a troublesome pet and hope for the best. We now have a pet deposit and an additional cleaning fee for pets (see fees).
We have bike rental available. The rate is $12 per day for a cruiser-type bike (best for our rough streets), a lock and helmet. Let us know when reserving how many bikes you would like to add to your reservation.

1 blk. to French Quarter. Stay in renovated history. New Orleans, Louisiana
Additional Location Information
We are located one block from the edge of the French Quarter...one block north of N. Rampart St., just off of Esplanade Ave, in the historical Treme/Esplanade Ridge/French Quarter adjacent area. It is a quiet, residential area convenient to all the action in the Quarter and Frenchmen St. (and Marigny and Bywater), but nice and quiet when you want to be nice and chill. There is ample on-street parking (no private parking), except on Mardi Gras Day, when it's every man and woman for him or herself! Our guests regularly park on the street, right in front of the property, with no problem. And it's free!

Let us begin by saying if you’re looking for a 5 star all-inclusive accommodation keep looking, nothing to see here. But if you are looking for a true taste of New Orleans look no further, JUST BOOK IT. We spent 10 days here and got to know just how great this apartment and area truly are. Instead of describing the apartment (Eshyah does an excellent job of that above) let us explain the experience. It starts at arrival; Eshyah welcomed us along with Mr. Mustard and Delta, gave us a tour of the facility and a brief description of the local area. She provides a very well thought out what/where to do book as well as a notebook with suggestions from previous guests. She makes sure you have all her contact information then leaves you to enjoy. After unpacking find Buffa’s 2 blocks away, get a drink or 3 and ask the local’s at the bar for their favorite spots, take notes you don’t want to forget anything they recommend, get a Trolley map and enjoy your visit to Treme and New Orleans. While Bourbon St. has its attraction take advantage of this great apartment and see the local area (Frenchman St.) is a must. When you come to New Orleans and don’t stay in this apartment in Treme you have not stayed in what we think is one the area’s coolest places. If you don’t love your stay at this property it is your fault, Eshyah and the residents of this neighborhood are the definition of Southern Charm. Our next trip down will only happen if Eshyah has an opening when we want to come down. If she doesn’t we will change the dates.

I fell in love with this condo - and i am desperate to come back as soon as my pennies will allow it.
This apartment is the cutest thing in the world and even has its own loft bed!!! There were two of us staying and there was plenty of room for us. The beds were extremely comfortable and Eshyah even provided more blankets, pillows and throws just in case which was a lovely touch.
The property was clean and fresh and Eshyah was so helpful with giving us tips and advice about the area and where to go, her guide book worked a treat and it was nice to have suggestions about where to go, especially when you're just winging the holiday like we were.
The addition of wifi was great - we were able to make all of our friends jealous by posting photos online!
Location wise, we couldn't have asked for better...Its 3 miles to city park, which we walked daily, the walk is straight, and flat, picturesque and full of friendly neighbours, there are however taxis always travelling by so we were never short of a lift if we needed one.
Frenchman Street, Bourbon Street and the business quarter are all in walking distance too!
Oh, and i need to mention the cat.. i think his name was Mustard, though we called him Ron... he is a beautiful visitor who kept us company in the evenings if we invited him in.
Home from home.... cant wait to come back!

It was a real pleasure dealing with Eshyah and her rentals. This location was just off the French Quarter. We rented 2 bikes and found it very easy to get around. Lots of great food in the area. We highly recommend this cute and reasonable rental.

We rented this little cottage for my first trip to Mardi Gras. It was perfect!! Super cute and perfectly located. Amenities were great too...coffee pot, frige and laundry facilities. We can't wait to go back. Will definitely stay here again :)
