Beautiful, large 3 bedroom, 2 bath 12 minutes to Times Square via subway which is right around the corner! Great for families, groups or those who simply want more space.
The layout is wonderful for two couples also as the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment with the bath in the middle.
The Master bedroom has a queen with en suite bath with Jacuzzi tub!!.
The second bedroom has a queen
The third bedroom has a queen
The apartment sleeps 10 in beds. There are two full sleeper sofas in the living room.
The are is wonderful Washington Heights. Fantastic restaurants!! Some of my favorites are 181 Cabrini Cafe, Emmy Lous,., Mexican (they make some of the best Margaritas in the city as they are made from scratch and have tiny bits of lime...all for $4!!!) , Thai, The usual Starbucks, Dominos, McDonalds etc. There is also a cigar lounge and some lovely wine bars tucked away. (we'll send you a list!!)
The cloisters is with in walking distance and once you get there you must have lunch/dinner or at least drinks at the New Leaf Cafe. Check Zagat for tons of others.
Riverside Park is a few blocks from the apartment and if you are bikers you will LOVE this trail. It winds through the trees along the Hudson and you can go for miles and miles, stop at the Boat House for lunch or cappys and then ride back.
It is 12 minutes or so to Times Square on the subway which is around the corner. It is 5 stops, however the first stop is only 5 blocks so it's really 4! The train is express so it zips along.
The apartment is located on the first floor in the front. (in NY that means you are one flight up in the back of the apartment and street level in the front. It is very quiet to sleep in the back of the flat and there is no one below you in part of the apartment so there are less worries about all the noise your kids are making. No one can hear you. The walls are thick in these prewar bricks and the ceilings rather tall.
In this apartment you will feel like a real New Yorker. You can zip to the tourist spots or hang out in the neighborhood with New Yorkers. Of course Big Apple bus tours come here too.. so you can use hop on hop off if you wish (though the subway is much faster!!) The Jacuzzi is nice to come home to!!
This is a GREAT place to call home while visiting Manhattan!!!...Read more

We have just returned from NYC and stayed at this apartment. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. Kent was very helpful before we got there with loads of great info about NYC.
The check in was no problem and the guy who we were told would be there, was there. The apartment was clean, spacious and well serviced. Everything you need is provided, including free Wifi, which was a nice suprise.
The area is slightly further out of the main city, but only 15 mins on the subway and the station is about a minute walk from the apartment. All in all, we were very impressed!
