Chelsea is a neighborhood on the West Side of Manhattan with much to offer. With attractions like High Line Park, the Hudson River Pier, Herald Square, Times Square, & Central Park (to name a few) it’s a centrally located property. Ideally situated between numerous world-class contemporary art galleries and restaurants, Chelsea has a tremendous array of offerings. David Zwirner, Gagosian, Cheim & Reid, and Pace Gallery are popular gallery destinations. Most recently, stunning museum-quality exhibitions of Roy Lichtenstein, Marlene Dumas, and Claude Monet have all been on view only a couple of blocks away.
Chelsea Market and the High Line Park are located near the Meatpacking District which are close by as well. For modern dance enthusiasts the Joyce Theater and the Dance Theater Workshop always have plenty to offer. For architecture enthusiasts West Chelsea along the High Line Park offers a virtual panorama of contemporary architecture from the likes of Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, and Neil Denari.
The Meatpacking district is one of Manhattan's main fashion arteries. Fashion labels such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs & Stella McCartney operate their flagships here.
As for restaurants there are plenty on the entire block, which includes our personal favorites, Trestle On Tenth, which is French fusion, and Pepe Giallo (right next door), an amazing Italian restaurant with a romantic garden you can ask to be seated in. We also recommend Swich Wholesome Sandwich Company, Soccarat for their excellent paella, Spice is great for Thai cuisine, Corner Bistro for burgers, Billy's Bakery for sweets (known for their cupcakes), 9th Street Espresso for coffee, the Lobster Place for lobster rolls and lastly Cafeteria for everything else. The apartment is only two blocks away from all of the major subway lines. The famous Javits Center is just 8.5 blocks away or just an eight (8) minute walk or five (5) minute cab ride.
Lastly, Chelsea is club heaven for those of you who are looking to stay out late.TripAdvisor property ID 3203283...Read more

Me, my wife and our 11mo baby stayed in this apt during our stay in NYC for our sister's graduation. We had a very enjoyable stay and had no complaint with it. Location is the plus, very close to markets, restaurants, trader joe's, bed & bath, etc. The representative whose name is Richard was very kind and helpful and was able to meet us on time to hand us the keys and explain everything we need to know about the place. The only downside is that we had to climb up the stairs, since we are bringing a baby stroller and large luggages, but if you are a solo traveler or somebody who travels light that won't be a problem, because it's just a couple fly up and no laundry machine inside the building. It's also equipped with necessary stuff you'll probably need during your stay such as microwave, fridge, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, stove and oven, iron & ironing board, linens, cable, wifi, AC and even a baby cot. Would definitely come again
